I doubt they would have more,if any than a couple non-english speaking competitiors. They can have a few on each show, since several of the fighters except for when there fighting have a very small exposure on the show compared to the more vocal/strong personalities.

Exactly!! Of course a pre-requisite would be that you must speak English. It would be awesome to see TUF with fighters from around the world. Its not all about the U.S :-)

They should try to make it more like the contender where they follow the 2 fighters that are fighting and show a lil bit about their life but either way Ill still watch if it is on

TUF 6: Barroom Brawlers in Boston

All Heavyweights! Wrestlers need not apply! Tank Abbott and Don Frye as coaches! I want to see men throwing bombs, not laying on each other.

That is the weak weight class in the UFC and they need more of them (that can make it through TUF (which I consider more like a training camp))
Are you kidding? Just because they had Danny Abaddi on there doesn't mean they're scraping the bottom of the barrell for fighters. They pack whole convention centers with fighters when they hold try-outs. I think they just need to work on their scouting a little bit.

AMEN! Plus, I'd love to see Tank as a coach. Can you imagine Tank giving advice on technique?

I'm definitely for the "no wrestlers" policy. They're too predictable. If you bring in a few good freestyle grapplers they always do much better.

Some of the better MMA stars have a wrestling background. It might not always be "pretty",but then again the technique of wrestlers should impress also.

Wrestling might be great, awesome, the best fighting base, and so on and so on, but I still don't want to pay to see it. I want to see guys smashing each others faces in.

I think we see reality TV shows have a more limited life span than "good" scripted shows.

With that said, TUF does have one advantage over the "regular" reality shows:

It's fan base.

Sure. People get bored of watching people eat bugs on an island or backstab each other to try and get a job. But after awhile it gets stale.

But people who love MMA or combat sports in general, will keep watching because we like to see who is the best fighter.

I never "tuned in" to see what those crazy wacky kids were gonna' do next... "...who will put shaving cream in who's bed this week?..." or "...who will draw a mustache with a sharpie on the back of somebody's bald head?..."

That's not why we watch.

We watch to see our enemies driven before us and hear the lamentation of the women.

So, it will continue for awhile... until more shows come on TV based on MMA (it will happen... Showtime soon, HBO soon, friggen' MSNBC has Warrior Nation for chris' sake!) Then it will fade.

But for now, it's hear to stay.

They are doing the LW now,

then will come another season of HW probably

then the "regain the title" with only UFC guys who had the title

then the midgets

then the donkeys

then the losers have to sleep outside in a tent
