I know they edit and show the scenes they chhose to show us (and color things a bit that way), so I'm not sure how disjointed the USA team really is. I'd categorize them as typical Americans (sadly). The brits are showing much more poise and maturity (Bisping notwithstanding), which I believe is also tyical of their culture.

All in all, I'm not thrilled with the team USA's presentation (or demonstrated fighting ability) so far.

if they're gonna be lame, then he'll let them be lame and fail; if they're gonna try he'll be there for them.

so he's not a great coach, but i respect him as a person because of that.

Seems like some of the Team USA guys are students of the Junie Browning School of Reality TV.
Dudes need to realize being a spazz isn't enough to make you famous anymore. You totally need a sex tape.

I think a big part of this is that Hendo doesn't seem to be good with people.

I'm sure he is an amazing coach and I'd love to spend some time training with him, but he is not a social worker and doesn't seem to be the most charismatic of leaders.

Therefore his team is falling apart and he can see it, for example when he had his motivational speech with them in the van when they were all bickering like 6 year olds, he just didn't seem like he was interested. I'm sure he was but it just didn't come across that way and the teams reaction spoke a million words, especially Damarques who kept raising his eyebrows in disdain so much I thought he was having a seizure.

I think he is more used to working with real fighters who want to train and learn not a load of wannabe Reality TV stars who have to fight to stay on TV.

Bisping is lucky that Team UK have a strong team ethic, but he is more charismatic (love him or hate him) and can hold his guys attention better.
