What excuse would you accept? *spolers inside*
 

For Bisbing missing the fight? What excuse could he give that you would give him the pass on? I am not going to judge him until I hear his excuse, I just want to know which ones you would think are reasonable.

The only one I can really think of is family related, such as if his gf/wife or kids were seriously hurt or ill and he was actually in the middle of packing to go back. But even then you would think his coaches would have known.

if its something not too legit, he should give the guy 3 free month training at wolfslair after the show or sumthin

free training for a few months would be a nice gesture. Dean has no one to blame other than himself though, Bisping when prepping him for the fight said numerous times to watch for the triangle because his opponent had used it in his fights and that Dean had been caught in that same sub when getting onto the show.

I guess family reasons would do it. Any REALLY serious personal issues that just couldn't be avoided....but I'm pretty sure he has a cell phone, no?
I see no reason why he couldn't have taken 5 seconds to make a call, no matter what the reason....unless he was seriously injured, or a close friend/family member was in dire, DIRE need of 100% attention.

As for the loss, of course he has no one to blame but himself, and a better fighter...he was quite clear on that front after the fight. These are two separate issues.
He just doesn't have great sub defense, especially against triangles, apparently. Maybe three free months at the Lair will get that up to speed!!

Anybody who has seen more than a handful of UFC events should know that the worst way to escape a triangle is via a slam. What's worse is that he is a trained fighter who should definitely know better.

In any case, the guy lost which I figured he would. He had a "deer caught in headlights" look about his face that made him look scared right before the match started. Good win for team America, hopefully the wins will continue and the crying will not.

He said on the preview for the next episode he hopes Dean forgives him and it was inexcusable. I just dont see why he couldnt at least call, didnt make any difference but it is still pretty messed up to bail on your fighter like that.

If it was family, it wouldn't be a big deal. Something tells me though that he overslept, forgot, or was getting some Vegas nookie.

We don't really know if Bisping called or not, but unless Bisping was unconscious somewhere I doubt that he wouldn't at least extend this courtesy. I think the show was spun to make us think that he never showed nor called, when in fact I think he was just hung up somewhere. I'll bet anything it was something silly like a travel/passport/driver's license issue. I think if we have learned anything the last few years watching Bisping grow in the UFC, is that he's a dedicated and responsible guy, so I really doubt we'll hear of anything controversial.

what has lead me to believe he didnt call is they kept asking where is he? and no one had an answer, you would think if he called they would know where he is.
