Dont You Think Its Ironic... Semis Line Up

Does anyone think its abit ironic how the four finalist in both weight classes are split two and two. Two from Team UK and two from Team USA.

Which means we will have Team UK v Team US x2 in the lightweight division and Team UK v Team US x2 in the welterweight divison....

I thought about this at the start of the season and really didnt think that it would end up as perfect as this, i thought there would either be a Team UK v Team UK semi, or vice versa. (Having three fighters from one team win in their weight class)

Whats the betting one from each wins both semis?

This doesn't fall under any definition of irony I know of. It's a perfectly normal outcome.

Now, if the winner turns out to be someone fighting for one country who was born in the other, we'd be onto something.

tell you what i do think, i think frank is the luckyest bleeder ive ever seen on tuf. he's got to the quaters without actually winning a fight off his own ability, he's had 1 guy knock himself out, 1 loss and 1 guy give in. To his credit he managed to take the last fight to a 3rd round and outlasted faulkner while looking peaky.

lucky lucky fella.

I don't know, 12?

I actually came here to tell you that that is not how the word ironic should be used, but some asshole already did it.

As usual you are quite correct in your semantics. (no great shock :P)that must have cheered you up no end.

You do have to keep looking for contraversy though.... go on expand on your second point, you've got me curious now.

Bisping slipped just before Hendo landed a "lucky" punch.*

*sarcasm is an international language :P
