I just wish they had the eliminator fights so we could've seen what he was made of.

For sure. I hate the fact he can't be bothered to train properly and cut the gut but this guy is a legit HW. The thought of him fighting Kimbo makes me smile.

I don't like having so many vets on the show though. The idea of uncovering new talent appeals to me and the majority of these guys are fighters who have already shown they can't make it in the UFC.

The guy who is 4-0 and coming out of the Jackson camp is worth looking at probably. Almost everyone in that camp is decent.

Some of the write ups are a bit funny.

"MATT MITRIONE: Another ex-NFL player, debuted as a rookie in 2002 for Minnesota Vikings. Very little MMA experience but trains with highly-regarded UFC heavyweight Jake O'Brien."

Uhhh, highly regarded...what? Don't most people think O'Brien is mediocre and boring?

"JUSTIN WREN: At 22 years old, The Viking is one of the youngest contestants on the new series. He has a 6-1 MMA record and trains with UFC star Travis Lutter's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team."

Missing weight, losing, gassing horribly, losing and then getting cut amid widespread derision = UFC star? Ok....

for a show that was dwindling, they really found a way to bring back interest.

i'm actually really excited for this season and unlike others IT DOESN'T DELAY ANOTHER TITLE!

UFC hit a homerun with fans on these couple of crucial decisions!

I think they need to move away from coaches that hold up title fights and concentrate more on using their veterans to coach on future seasons.

Or coaches who can fight at the end of the season for a no.1 contenders slot.

Surprised at Nelson, considering what White's said about him in the past.

too many old guys in there. this show should be about discovering fresh talent, not brining guys back who got slapped around.

I think a lot of these guys might be offered contracts regardless if they win or not. This is a very good cast and should offer up some great fights.

Man..can you just imagine what the grocery bill is going to be like for that season?? It just might break Zuffa!

Anyway, looks like an interesting season. I will probably enjoy it more than I did this season. I like to see new guys come up that you don't know about, but this should be good anyway. Good find.

Thanks to Toxic for the Awesome Sig!
