Do you think TUF will bias him in any way?

I think they are already showing kimbo quite a bit of bias. Regardless of how he is treated on the show, Dana White has said that kimbo will have a different contract then the rest of the guys in the house if he wins the whole shabang. That is the only thing that doesnt sit right with me about this whole affair with kimbo. If the other fighters on the show didnt all want to kick the hell outta this guy before, then surely the contract bias will be enough to make everyone gun for him. Im also very curious as to what makes kimbo's contract so much different. Anyone have any idea?

If anything, I'd think there'd be a bias against him from the other fighters that might make it difficult in the house and in training, but I doubt he'll get special treatment one way or the other from the production.

You dont think Dana plays a role in the marketing campain of the UFC......

Jasvil..its been a while but your one of the more logical posters here....you know the man is involved in all these decisions.......

I am saying that it worked out great for dana and he now will milk it like Gary Shaw did except it will be alot more respectable....if he loses he's gone thank god....but as i stated above...they are gonna try to keep him out of the cage till the end....

my guess they will couch him as the guy no one in the house wants to fight..or the coach will label him one of the better guys and save him till the end as often has happened in previous seasons.....

Dana is def in the marketing mix.....

He already is getting special attention he was in the promo commercial......when was another guy tryin to get into the house shown on the coaches preview....i dont remember seeing Junie Browning when they were 1st doin commercials for NOG vs. MIR.......

thats such a discrace, if I was the casual fan i'd be thinking that kimbo will be coaching.
I was afraid it would be the kimbo show, the only good thing is now that they got kimbo, it looks like they really stepped up the production value.

I think he has very little role, if any, in Spike produced commercials, which this was.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong on that one.

Could be.

Again, I don't think he is for the Spike promos. It's standard in the TV/film. The production company delivers the product to the studio/network, but they have no role in how that studio/network markets it.

Again, you're referencing a Spike produced promo that Zuffa likely had little to do with. Notice the 'Spike' slo-mo and lighting work and minimal appearance of UFC logos.

I bet if we polled it people wouldnt agree with that........after Dana signed Kimbo you dont think Spike needed his ok to call Kimbo out there to film the commercial as well???

You could be right but I dont think so.....Dana has his hands in everything....Im not sure why thats somthing people wouldnt be more open to realizing.....

I guess thats why there are so many people on here that like the fighter of the month because they believe everything they are shown.........not referring to you jasvil....
