Sure it's comendable that he is making him go through TUF, but don't talk major shit about the man and then use him as a marketing ploy to boost your ratings. The fact that everytime I see anything related to the new TUF season it all revolves around Kimbo. Um hello, there are 20 something other fighters in the competition can you shed some light on them? The fact that he is simply using Kimbo as a money maker is really irritating especially the fact that Dana continiously said that Kimbo Slice is a poor fighter.
I always admired Dana White because he knew so much about the sport, always spoke his mind and he knew when to take his business man hat off and actually do what's best for the fans who appreciate MMA. I really hope he doesn't get greedy and turn the UFC into a soap opera, offering bullshit contract just to boost ratings.

Not to be rude but you obviously lack a fundamental understanding of how the business world works.
Dana said he was worried because he believed putting Kimbo in a main event fight was going to hurt the industry as a whole. Dana and many others have spent years promoting MMA as a professional sport, that only professional athletes participate in. Then out of no where, this youtube phenomenon shows up and jeopardizes that entire image.
Dana always said, the only way Kimbo would ever get into the UFC is through TUF. So Kimbo (and I think this shows good on him, decided to swallow his pride and do TUF) So now that he is signed on, why not capitalize on the fan (and hater) base he already has.
This is just good business.... and nothing else
Oh and I can see the producers of TUF holding Kimbo's fight off until one of the later fights to keep people watching.(once again, good business) But I think it's pretty bolt to insinuate that they will fix the show for him to win.
You guys act like Dana is just dying to get this guy into the UFC... when in truth, it's probably just the opposite... will he capitalize if he does, bet your ass, but there's no way he's going to get a free ride.
And to the guys who say Kimbo doesn't deserve a shot... if he doesn't, who does? Get off the hater bandwagon and get a life.
