I'd be interested to see a citation. That said, the UFC has long intended to do a heavyweight season of the Ultimate Fighter, though it's a little strange to have lightheavyweight coaches, but Rashad and Rampage will be great for this season.

The presence of Roy Nelson alone demonstrates that the UFC doesn't expect Kimbo to win the show. After all, they're putting in a guy who won and defended (twice) the IFL title and has fought two well respected, very accomplished heavyweights in Arlovski and Monson.
Not to mention the presence of a UFC veteran (and giant) in Wes Sims.
Kimbo Slice is going to be one of the smallest fighters in the house. If what I'm hearing about Schoonover's weight gain is true, he may very well be the smallest fighter in the house.
Certainly, the note that half of the guys on the roster (exactly 8 of 16, from what I can tell) are over 265 pounds naturally, with four former NFL players, Kimbo will be one of the least accomplished athletes in the house (though not the least accomplished fighter; an honor which belongs to former Giants tackle Matt Mitrione, who hasn't made a professional debut yet).
Not only is this season not going to be easy for Kimbo, he's basically a prohibitive underdog.

This Season what acually changed to include Kimbo, it was originally going be be another MW/LHW season with 32 fighters, two of them I have trained with. But when Kimbo agreed to do the show they changed it to all heavyweights with only 16 fighters so they could assure him being in the house all season.
But you are right in a way, becuase it wasnt designed for kimbo to either win or lose, it was designed to test him, and based on many interviews from many cast members, I am assuming that Kimbo did not do well.
Also to the TS, I didnt have hard feelings for him during the Kimbo nughug train era, but I hated the hype. Alot of people fealt that way.

Thanks! That clears a lot up.
To clarify my first post, I don't think Kimbo was meant to do well or did infact do well, I am not a Kimbo fan or a Kimbo hater.

I think he's pretty f*cked given the guys that are in the bracket. There's no way he's going to get through the guys that are bigger than him, and he's going to have a lot of issues if the fight hits the mat against pretty much everybody.
I haven't read many of the interviews, but the ones I've read to indicate that, too.

^^^Kimbo has a sweet beard, bald cornrows, and gangter apeal, so who knows that may be enough to overcome his size, and enormous skill disadvantage hahaha
