I will start by saying that I am extremly excited for The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights and I feel it has the potential to be the best season since season 1. Lets be honest, the reason I and many others are very excited about this season is due to one man and one man only, that man is Kimbo Slice.
Now to the topic, I have started this thread to analyse whether Kimbo has any chin what so ever. I have seen some footage where Kimbo was hands down and willingly taking bombs to the chin with no ill effect what so ever and like many of us I have seen him get dropped and KTFO by what most people would deem as soft shots. Following are some links to some previous Kimbo fights exhibiting his chin (or lack there of). Please feel free to bring your thoughts and opinions to the table as well as any additional information be it videos, quotes from bas etc. Thanks.

Here are my thoughts on Kimbo's Chin. He has never been knocked out with 1 punch, sure he's been dropped but he seems to recover quite quickly. In the Petruzelli fight he was hit with an extremly soft shot (although it was right on the chin) but he did start to recover, Seth did an excellent job of swarming him and finishing the fight though.
I think Kimbo's chin is similar to a modern Nog's only weaker. He gets hurt and knocked down frequently but on the whole recovers quickly. I am in no way comparing Kimbo's ability as a fighter to Nogs, only saying they have comparable symptoms when they get caught on the chin.
In conclusion I think Kimbo's chin is under rated, he by no means has a great chin, or even a good chin, but he can take shots and recover quickly. Could he take a shot from Carwin or Lesner? No. Nor could he take a Mirko LHK. However I think his chin is just solid enough to bang with the likes of Velasquez and other smaller heavyweights. What do you guys think.
