Ultimate Fighter TVFor the eighth season, UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and top heavyweight contender and former Champion, Frank Mir will train and coach fighters in the Lightweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.
Anyone else think it's pretty shitty they're having Wren/Nelson square off in the next round? They could be the two top seeds in this competition. Then have two craptastic fighters in Matt/McSweeney fight because I'm sure Rashad went to bat for his boy. And Rashad complains about Rampage having his way with one fighter? Atleast there isn't personal team bias my friend.
Anyway, Roy, Big Baby, Schaub, McSweeney to the semi's. I imagine they put Roy against McSweeney and Big Baby verses Schaub. Schaub/Roy finals. I hope to see Roy/Big Baby though. I can't stand either of those Jackson guys.
Schaub is facing Jon Madsen in the quarters, definitely not an easy match up imo, certainly not the easiest.
Yeah, I personally think that Wren vs. Nelson could've been a semi-final fight. I don't think Wren will make the top seed, but whatever.
That said, I think McSweeney is getting an easy fight with Matt Mitrione. But that's the way Rashad wants it.
Also, I think the same is true for Schaub getting Jon Madsen. Though I may be underestimating Madsen. That dude has some solid wrestling (second in the house, maybe, behind Wren).
I think that the winner of Wren/Nelson (which, after watching both of them fight, looks like a toss-up to me) is going to end up fighting Marcus Jones, who I think got the easiest matchup (though not the worst fighter) in Darrill Schoonover, who's going to be way to small to do any damage.
If Matt actually does fight cause he might not cause of some head injury there pushing, might just be to keep viewers thinking Kimbo might fight again. Well if he does fight I think he will beat Mcsweeney. James looked terrible in his first fight, I still have no idea how he won. Both fighters looked gassed in there fights but Mcsweeney was easily the most unimpressive fighter I have seen get a win in TUF history I think. I cant see him getting another win.
Yah he just doesnt seem like he would be good at jj with his type of body but damn that armbar was slick and looked effortless. I thought he was gonna win by KO standing to be honest. I hope he wins the show
why wouldnt he be good at jits because hes tall and big? he should have went for the leg triangle he could use his long ass legs to choke the shit out anybody.

He just really doesnt look like he would be a flexible person and have that kind of control because of his size but he deffinetly does.
He's def a freak but I wonder how he would do against a guy like Mir?? Eaten I assume....In reality we just dont know how his striking is so if someone can stay standing with him they may be able to out strike him......
But...thats total speculation cuz I haven't seen his stand up, it might be horrible....
Either way he is green but looks like he can def be turned with the right camp into a good prospect...

This is a strange match up they are probably two of the better guys left in the comeption, IMO these two Big Baby and Schuab are the 4 best guys in the competition.
lol, God help poor Roy Nelson if he winds up in the UFC. I see Brock Lesnar, Big Nog, and Cain Velsquez in his future. Dana really has it out for the man.
