Wasnt to impressed with either of these guys. Yeah, the chubby guy held the big guy down (dont remember names, real drunk) but the big guy didnt put a lot of effort into getting out from under the chubby guy. The one bright spot of this fight was that the chubby guy has a dynamite "glove touch to shot" transition, one of the best ive seen...Cheap, but it wasnt like it decided the fight. He would have just taken the big guy down anyway.

What is it with some of these clowns feeling like they have to talk smack about Slice? I know every UF cast has its meat-heads, but even a simpleton could recognize the honour and nobility in wanting to fight so badly, that you're willing to lower yourself from top draw in one organization to Ultimate Fighter contestant in another. So why act a fool and say, 'F-uck him' or 'I want to kick his a-ss' when he's clearly a humble man, grateful for this opportunity, and looking to prove himself just like everyone else? Here's to Slice hopefully being matched up with Justin Wren, and knocking the little turd right out.

As for the first fight... meh. Nothing to either fighter, it seemed. One lay and prayer. One duck out of water. Nice cut, though.

The ref could have stood them up 100 times and the only thing that would have changed is the amount of takedowns.

Rampage really is a bad coach. Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of MMA knows what happens when you put a guy in there with no TDD whatsoever against a wrestler. That fight was decided about 5 seconds in with the first take down. Terrible match up Rampage picked for his fighter.

Roy Nelson annoy the shit out of anyone else? He's got an awfully big head yeah? I mean, he IS probably the most accomplished fighter there but c'mon... I think dude's overrated to say the least >.>

Upon further thought, i agree big time. His big wins are over ufc washouts.

Roy will probably never be an elite level fighter but he has proven he can at least hang with world class fighters which whne compared to Wes Sims and a bunch of guys who are really just starting out is pretty damn good.
