I don't know why people were booing Madsen. All of the reports I'm getting sound like he did a fantastic job outstriking a much taller, more experienced fighter, though apparently it was a close fight.

I'm hoping they air that one, though I doubt they will, since it went to the judges.

No they weren't his first fight Kimbo was landing the better shots standing and nelson just had him killed on the ground. And his second fight most people thought it should have went to a third round as well I did.

3rd round......he had Kimbo in a tight crucifix, pucnhing without him defending, I don't know if you have been in a crucifix but i have, any really the only defence for one is to not get in it in the first place. Roy's smart he uses that big belly to smother Kimbo like a bag of rice, giving him no room to sneak the arm out before he grape vines it and he so big its hard to turn into him before he locks up the far arm in that situation you need to be aggrsive fight for half guard or buck a pull out quick

This is irritating.

It was the second round (TUF fights only go two rounds in the early portions of the competition) and there are a lot of ways to get out of a crucifix, they just all demand knowing how to buck, change the angles of your shoulders and escape one of the two arms.

Anyone who trains BJJ at a bluebelt level or higher (and even high level whitebelts) know how to get out of the crucifix position, especially when your opponent is not using it to transition into something more devastating.

The problem is that Roy is a BJJ blackbelt and one of the top American heavyweight grapplers in the world, while Kimbo hasn't had much of any grappling experience (though he's much better now).

Roy is a warrior, and the fact that people are disrespecting him when his win is not controversial (not like Kendall Grove, whose decision over Ed Herman was suspect) is really annoying.

roy doesnt deserve to have another chance in the ufc he had his shot but blew it its time for change and hes not it hes a wash out old hag who cant fight all he does is lay all his weight in his opponet and try to punch them in the head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROY U SUCK
