The Crow wants to try out for TUF 11

Former UFC middleweight contender, David Loiseau, will try out for the 11th season of Spike's hit reality TV show, "The Ultimate Fighter."

After being released from the organization in April 2009 following a unanimous decision loss to Ed Herman at UFC 97, Loiseau is attempting to stage a comeback, saying that he will do anything he can to get back into the organization.

"I'd love to go back, you know, just to get another chance to do what I do," said Loiseau in an interview with

Ken Pavia, Loiseau's agent, said that trying out for the show is Loiseau's best chance at doing so.

"He's committed to doing whatever it takes to get back into the major show," Pavia said, "and that includes submitting an application for the next TUF season."

Tryouts for TUF 11 will be held on Oct. 26 in Los Angeles, CA. While the weight classes have not yet been announced, it has been reported that the 11th season will be geared towards the welterweights and middleweights. No coaches have been announced.

The Canadian fighter currently sports an 18-9 MMA record. He has suffered losses to the likes of Rich Franklin, Mike Swick and Jeremy Horn, but holds wins over Evan Tanner, Charles McCarthy and Gideon Ray.

What do you think? I'd always like to see him back, even though it hasn't really been that long.

Id support him. The talent on TUF has been pretty down in the last few seasons, he would add a major boost to the usual less then stellar fighters they put on that show. His fights are always fun to watch.

I really like the Crow and honestly don't want to see him back, Canada doesnt really have a top promotion anymore with MFC ruling the west and XMMA seemingly following in TKO's footsteps in the east. XMMA had really promoted alot around Loiseau before his last UFC jaunt and his notoriety can only help MMA grow in Quebec similar to how MFC has really chosen to center around the returning Jason Mcdonald.

Not fair, or interesting at all. Unless they have another comeback season, like 4 or 5, or whichever one Sera won, he will run thru the cast.

Loiseau has been around the block, but seriously would the UFC want to award him a 6 figure contract if he managed to win TUF over possible future prospects when he has been cut from the UFC multiple times due to poor performances? (as far as I know this was the reason, if not please enlighten me.)
