I personally think that this is bullsh*t. I think that he is a better fighter than Big Country. He did NOT lose that fight against McSweeny. He definitly won the first round, and most likely the 2nd round too. It is so typical that the British guy gets the cheap decision. And as for replacing Marcus Jones, I hope to god they would give it to Shivers over Kimbo. Alls Kimbo has going for him is fight videos on youtube, and being Rampages little pet. If Shivers just works on his cardio, which is a lot easier to teach than sub def or tdd(which is what you have to teach Kimbo), he could easily be the best heavyweight on the show. I mean, Kimbo is a good guy, but your past fight, not your name should get you the right to replace someone in an injury. Thoughts?

I dont think you can say that someone who gassed in about 45 seconds deserves anything. I thought he won that fight too, but i also think that Kinbo would beat him, since Kimbo can stay fresh for longer than a minute.

i agree that wes is a great fighter however he has no cardio what so ever thats why he lost stylistically he is better than big country but as fat as he is roy has a better gas tank than wes so he would probably win the fight.

as for the fight with McSweeny that was draw imo. first round wes second mcSweeny. however if it would have gone to a third round there is no doubt im my mind that McSweeny would have won. Wes had trouble just getting up after the second round.

This is like the 3rd thread you made about how you think wes won the fight. Why are you all over this dudes nuts? He gassed in seconds and had 0 standup. He also couldnt do anything on the ground.

Mcsweeny at least threw some leg kicks and a few combos.

I really don't understand how these former professional football players get gassed so quick.. sure sure fighting is steady 3- 5 minutes at a time but football training and practice isn't a cakewalk.. plus they look REALLY in shape.. what the heck?

I'm sensing a little anger and frustration...

Here's the thing guys. I felt Wes won the first round and McSweeny won the second, but there was no way Wes was going to win round three. No possible way. The judges looked at it and said, its a tie but we know who'll win already, let's just call it for McSweeny and save the big guy fron any more damage.

If he trains cardio like an animal then maybe he'll become a force. He advanced to mount twice didn't he? His striking looked decent. I think he needs to lose some of that muscle mass and run in a few marathons to get his cardio up.

That's all he really needs at this point.

Kimbo should get the nod over Wes because he got caught on the ground with a BJJ black belt that happens to be a pretty good fighter. He made the fight competitive. Plus nobody wants to sit through another two rounds of Wes sucking air. At least Slice has the ability to knock a guy out.
