Ultimate Fighter TVFor the eighth season, UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, and top heavyweight contender and former Champion, Frank Mir will train and coach fighters in the Lightweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.
View Poll Results: Is Rampage TUF's worst coach ever?
I think so! After his bullshit comment about his fighter's quitting, and his actual belief that he and his coaches "are doing a good job", whether it has anything to do with victory or not, the guy is an over the top douchebag.
I would have said, Shamrock was TUF's worst coach ever... he's a distant second now.

for sure as bad as shamrock was rampage is ten times worse. Not supporting his fighters the guys hate him not showing up for his fighter before the fight becuase he needed some burgers.
It all said it when he said hey went we doin good guys and the all looked at him like you sob. I didn't think any one could be worse but rampage rose to the calling and proved me wrong

You'll drop that load too when you got an excuse. All you gotta do is learn to feel sorry for yourself. One of the best indoor sports, feeling sorry for yourself. A sport enjoyed by all, especially the born losers.
He got 2 ouf of 8 fighters past first round on season 7, on this season he has 0 wins. So 2-15 record says kinda alot. One could argue that it depends alot about the individuals too instead of just his coaching, but he is the one that picked the team and picked the starting match ups and still ended up failing this badly.
Then again Rashad had Greg Jackson helping him at the beginning of season so its not exactly surprise that his team is now dominating. I wonder if Rashad had made same picks without Jackson helping him basically...
Anyway, Shamrock has long history of awesome coaching and at one point Lion's Den members dominated pretty much every possible mma ranking there was. Sadly he was too stubborn with his old fashioned methods at season 3 to really save his sinking ship anymore after it was clear that his methods weren't working.
So yes, Shamrock > Rampage, but atleast the "assistant coaches" Rampage brought didn't suck as much as Shamrock's "body builder friend".

WOW! Okay... I'm ashamed at the title of this thread, that is very unlike me. Could a moderator please change that "stoled" to "stolen"? That is ridiculous!

ramapge has stated from the beginning that he's no coach, so, it is really any wonder he sucks at it? he also said he turned them down, but they kept sking him to do it, so who's fault is it really that there's such a shitty coach on the show? as far as rashad, unless you've trained with him, none of us know how much coaching he's really doing. the more i watch this shittyassed season, the more obvious it becomes to me that TUF is promoting "their" fighter and trashing rampage every chance they get. not sayin he hasn't been as asshole, but try to let go of rashads nuts for a while and see what's really going on here.
Rampage has no coaching experience before going on the show.
Shamrock has been coaching fighters for years. Shamrock is the worst coach in TUF history he brought a nutritionist instead of a ju jitsu coach and played golf instead of trained.
