What was fight of the season?

Jon Madsen vs Abe Wagner

James McSweeney vs Wes Shivers

Roy Nelson vs Kimbo Slice

Brendan Schaub vs Demico Rogers

Justin Wren vs Wes Sims

Darrill Schoonover vs Zak Jensen

Matt Mitrione vs Scott Junk

Marcus Jones vs Mike Wessel

Roy Nelson vs Justin Wren

Brendan Schaub vs Jon Madsen

James McSweeney vs Matt Mitrione

Marcus Jones vs Darrill Schoonover

Roy Nelson vs James McSweeney

Brendan Schaub vs Marcus Jones

I'm sure Dana would say 'Mitrione/Scott Junk'

but I would say Big Baby/Schaub. Some good back-and-forth action and a nice finish.

Thoughts?

My favorite was definitely mitrione vs. junk, just because they were so exhausted.

Roy nelson's gut vs. gravity was definitely the worst.

I like Nelson/Wren, it was one of the more competitive fights of the season. Wish Wren hadnt gassed, but it was still a good fight.

Nelson/Wren definitely. Marcus/Schaub was nice because of the turnaround, but basically it just showed that Marcus is lost on his feet.

Brendan Schaub vs Jon Madsen
I guess this entertained me the most.
It was great to see someone neutralize a wrestler like that.

^This^

Still sad Wren's gas tank wasn't any better. He was my winner pick at the start and Im sure we'll still see him in ufc soon. Wren is young guy with nice wrestling and solid sub game thanks to training with Lutter. If he manages to polish his stand up and fix his cardio we might see him in title fight at some point in next few years.

Before you think Im overhyping his potential don't forget that he has about 10-20 years of career still left. So much time left to improve and it really depends how serious he is about mma.
