Well..it would be nice to have a HW division to add more talent to the HW class in the UFC,but maybe they just cant' find enough quality competitors?

I think they only did the "comeback" show becuase they need time to get a new lineup of up and coming fighters.

Eitherway TUF was the most genius move the UFC made. IT helped bring them into the main stream sports arena here in the States. 2004 they lost 34 million and now 2006/2007 there bringing in guys like Crocop.

If it wasn't for strong competition that is entering the USA media market(PRIDE PPVs)EliteXC(Showtime),then the UFC would have no limits Americans became more and more aware of this great sport.

There are good heavyweight competitors out there. There is talent. The question I have is, why aren't these guys on TUF?

Is it because they aren't showing up to the tryout?

Is it because TUF is recruiting poorly?

I don't know. What I know is that the heavyweight division has been weak as far as bringing in new, solid talent. There are a dozen guys that are champs at small organizations that would kill, or at least fight, for the chance at a UFC contract.

Eddie Sanchez is a great example of this type of fighter. You have never heard of him, but he is a developing talent and he has a great deal of potential. Is the UFC just not scouting heavyweight like this? Because they need to.
