Why does everybody think that the show is gonna suck? I think it will be better because the fights should be better. I'd rather watch these guys beat each other up, at no cost, then to pay $40 to watch Frank Mir sit his fat ass on someone for 15 minutes.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?????? I was just reading through this thread and i know you posted this a while ago and ive never seen you in any other threads so you prolly dont even visit this site anymore but WHAAAAT? what the ****? what the **** are you talking about!??!? Shonie Carter would have won that fight in a unanimous decision regardless you dumbass. There was only what, 15 seconds left in the whole fight and Shonie was ****ing dominating hardcore the entire second and third rounds. He lagged a bit in the first and Serra had that round prolly in the judge's mind, BUT Carter completely and utterly with no doubt in my mind at all DOMINATED the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Serra gassed like a pansy after round 1 and Shonie was still goin at it full speed (maybe from drugs but who knows or cares). Plus, Shonie escaped EASILY EVERY TIME Serra was on top. EVERY ****ING TIME! Watch it. I am not biased towards either fighter, I like Serra and I like Carter both equally moderate amounts but I am so sick of hearing you mindless drones constantly talking about how "Shonie Carter shouldn't have won that fight" and "a spinning backfist is a disgrace to MMA" and all that horseshit. You have no idea what you're talking about so shut the hell up. If you say either of those 2 phrases then YOU are a disgrace to MMA! Those are the 2 most false statements ive ever heard on this forum and it continues to be said. sorry for everyone else reading this thread i know this response is gonna be on a completely different page and nobodys gonna care but im sick of dumbass people saying that.
A SPINNING BACKFIST IS NO MORE OF A DISGRACE TO MMA THAN A ****ING ELBOW, KNEE, PUNCH, OR SUBMISSION. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHY A SPINNING BACKFIST SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A DISGRACE!

Now that i had a cigarette and calmed down a bit from my last post ill reply to the subject of this thread.
I don't think this will be too bad. These fighters aren't washed up I don't know why you noobs keep saying that. These are all good fighters, every fighter has to lose sometime unless your name is Fedor. You sorta have a 50/50 chance of losing every fight ya know? You either win or you lose, it's inevitable. Just cuz you lose somtimes doesn't mean you're a bad fighter it just either means you weren't as good as your opponent, you weren't as lucky as your opponent, or a judge's decision which technically is not a loss but an opinion of only 3 people of an unfinished fight. Every one of these fighters, aside from McCarthy, are on a way higher level than ANYONE from the previous TUF's. They all have Octagon experience which makes for less nervousness which means BETTER FIGHTS! These are the fighters who had to actually earn their original contracts, not win it on a popularity contest called TUF. ahem*kendal grove *cough*
I agree with whoever it was that was talking about how we judge the previous TUF fighters more on their personality rather than fighting skills. I think that might cause a downfall in MMA in the long run if it keeps going that way, that's why this season is a good change but i really hope this season they focus more on their abilities rather than the drama going on in the house. I am not a fan of REAL WORLD, I am an MMA fan so I that's what I want to see.

I thought I was pissed with the Kendall Grove/Ed Herman decision... but damn. I looked at Shonie's record +60 fights???????? If he doesn't win, he should get a job. The other guys are good fighters but none of them strike me as guys who can take the UFC to the next level. Any of these guys marque fighters?

How come on TUF there are no LHW or HW? And I would like to be on Randy's team rather than GSP, although he is good but Randy seems like you would get more expeirence.

Pete Sell is going to win it all. Him and Patrick Cote in the finals. For the welterweigts, I don't know they are all pretty dam crappy if you ask me. Matt Serra, Jorge Rivera, this show is going to suck. Plus both trainers have no rivalry what so ever. The trainers should be GSP and Matt Hughes to hype their rematch up more. I guess Travis Lutter has a chance. Din Thomas will probably win the welterweight division. I would rather watch a young fighter show rather then cans who have been horribly beaten up in a way.
Matt Serra= KO'd by Carter
McCarthy= TKO'd by Loiseau
Ray= Stopped after being killed by Loiseau
Thomas= TKO'd by Penn
Sell= TKO'd by Quarry (although it wasn't a good stop)
Dewees= TKO'd by Franklin
Rivera= TKO'd by Franklin and Submitted by Murray
Lutter= Lost to Lindland, Prangley too many to name
Lots other more can think of it. Just a bunch of punching bags.

come on dana
when I was looking at this list and I saw a smith, I thought it was Maurice for a second. The show will still be good, but its only because half these guys are known for going to sleep. Rivera got beat by the Punk Chris Lehman. The kid who smashed the window. Anyone else smile when Vanderli silva destroyed that punk in under a minute. I was also disappointed that they are making Bonner vs Forest 2 the big fight when Forest is coming off two unspectacular wins, and then getting completly dismantled by Rashaad. I don't know how gets back in the picture against Forest, who should still be on the rise, because let's face it. I was at the show in Aneheim and Forest won the striking battle. Tito took him down and sat on him in the 3rd round and thats why he won. Tito's a great fighter, he destroyed shamrock in the rematch. Ken has been losing for years. The double heel hook war against Don Frye was still a good match. Let's get some new blood at the 205. I love to see Branden Vera get a shot at some of these guys if he drops down. The show is a good way for fighters to get into the UFC, but let's face it. When they face the top notch guys they've been getting killed. Diego will get destroyed by the winner of the GSP Hughes fight. I have to to tell the world, I think Mike Swick has the most potential. He's been destroying people, real fighters on the PPV. Keep it up swick.

Wanderlei Silva didn't destroy Leben (not Lehman) it was Anderson Silva. And plus Maurice Smith wouldn't want to waste his time on a show with cans on it and being trained by a man he could beat back in the days he owned, Randy Couture.

Good point Rush. I would also like to point out that my brain hurt for several hours and I even slipped into a coma for a little while after reading that post. After recovering I had my friend read it and he started foaming at the mouth and and farting and shitting uncontrollably for about 45 minutes and then eventually he passed away at 9:43 PM EST on 8-11-06.
What I am trying to say is that after the third or fourth sentence of that post I forgot what the subject of the thread was about. I think Aubdoggy made a comment about every thread in this forum. Not only that but you either spelled the names wrong or just got the names wrong all together of like every fighter you named. I think you should lay off the crack a little bit or take some Ritalin or Aderol, Mr. ADHD.
