Ok I was watching the fight with a friend, I we both did score the third round for Chucks team but the first two rounds we gave to Tito's hands down.

I am pretty sure judges in MMA take the "grab bag" approach. Where at the end of each round they just pull names out of a hat and give the round to that person.

we were thinking something along those lines, or that this is not actually a real fight in the athletic commissions eyes so they could just say hey judges we want a third round just score it a draw

I had the first two split, but I gave the last to Tito's team.
So there you go, that's how easily a close fight can be seen differently.

well the first two rounds were so close and it was such a good fight that they probably said lets let them go one more round.

I actually agreed with the judges and had it first round to Hammortree, second and third round to Tavares. Very close fight though, wouldn't of been shocked at it going Hammors way at all.

I had first 2 to Hammorstree then the 3rd to Tavares, so I agreed with the 3rd but thought it was over at the end of the 2nd. Glad it wasn't though more MMA to be seen the better.

I pretty much had the fight scored the same way (1 & 2 to Hammortree), but it was uninspiring enough that you could have flipped a coin and gotten as good a result. As everyone always says...don't leave it in the hands of the judges as they are not going to give you the result you want/expect a large portion of the time. You want to win fights...then go out and WIN them.
Overall...the fight sucked. Action? Saw very little. They both looked pretty gassed from the very start of the
2nd round to me. You could just about count the total number of strikes thrown on two sets of fingers. Which is also sort of funny imo...before these fights the dudes are always talking so much smak about "man...I can't wait to just put my gloves on his face blah blah blah"...but when the fight starts there just wasn't much of it to be found.
That fight became (for me anyway) nothing but glove tap, glove tap, glove tap, take down, roll around, lay and pray. Neither of them ever really took a shot. And before anyone says it...yeah...I know these guys are not the polished fighters that they may become, but if you are gonna talk the talk then back it up.
And Tito whining about "man...what about the take down? What about getting side control?". Exactly Tito...what about it? Yes, a take down is worth points. Being able to move to side control? Maybe. But what did he do with it? Zip. Nada. Got the mount. What did he do with it? Zip. Nada.

Strange, I scored all three rounds for Chuck's team. A little bit of laying and landing nothing special doesn't negate clean punches and legs kicks, especially when the guy on the bottom is threatening with submissions all the time. All I remember is Tito's guy landing a good elbow and losing his control afterwards. Then he got into mount and lost it without landing a clean hit. The rest was all Chuck's guy threatening with submissions and landing stiff jabs and left and right hooks.
