Why does TuF always have to have a storyline?
I think the UFC told Josh Koscheck to be an asshole to sale next season. It will get views because everyone wants to see the bad guy lose blah blah blah.
What ever happened to the good ol TUF days? Like TUF 1 and 2, back when there were no scripts and it was just coachs training fighters to be the best of the best. Now a days TUF is so scripted I just can't watch it. Just a rant. |
TUF is so important for mma and for UFC right now,
that i think they should pick the coaches with better care. Im mean, it´s as public as mma gets and for the sake of the sport the coaches should be representing the best mma as to offer not only as a fighter but as a person as well. Having said that, i dont think Kos is the right person to play that role. He has no honour, he has no pride and is devious as it gets. The worst choice possible to coach in TUF. Luckly GSP, will be there representing all the opposite. p.s - Too bad about all the time we´re gonna have to wait to see another title fight at WW. p.s.2 - UFC doesnt need to tell Kos to be an ass, He´s pretty good at that being himself. |
Opposites
Yeah they do represent opposite personalities and it's interesting to see how that is going to play out.

I think Kos is an ass, but have a feeling he may make a good coach, just like TITO, as he has a massive will to win, and of course will be interesting/annoying to watch. I think George being the classy guy he is will be a bt boring to watch as he wont rise to kos. I'd really like to watch Sonnen, Brock at some point also, as I think they'd be interesting. |

They are borrowing from wrestling. TuF is based on The WWE's tough enough. They have GSP playing the role of the "face" or good guy in this situation, while Kos is playing the "heel" I expect them to both blow their roles out of proportion.
I am wondering, if my theory is true, about why they did not pick an underdog face to overcome the superior, evil heel? |
Wwe?
I don't think "prowrestling" has anything to do with what the UFC does related to the Ultimate Fighter!

brock would make a HORRIBLE coach. he've very anti-social and selfish, i cannot see him doing much on the coaching side of the show, bonding with the guys, caring about winning the coaches challenge; he'd be like Shamrock was and only get 1 win based only on the guy's natural talent.
(watched many shoot interviews with Paul Heyman, the Hardy Boys, Chris Jericho and others who have worked with Brock back in the day; unless he REALLY grew up in the past 5 years.... |
Selfish
One thing he isn't selfish in is his caring for his family. Not sure how good of a father he is though!
