He's been my pick from the start. Those Alaskan fishermen are tough dudes. As well as having that wicked guillotine, I've got a feeling that he's going to be very durable/hard to finish as well. He kind of reminds me of Evan Tanner, what with the long hair and unorthodox fighting style.

Very fitting nickname as he's very unassuming to begin with and literally puts people to...zzz.

Man it was quite fitting with a team that is full of meat heads ala Josh Koscheck. Both yellow jersey fighters got humbled BIG TIME.

WOW, i´m truly amazed, i just got speechless after that 16 sec submission.
That must be one of the fastest submissions in mma for sure...

I´m building serious respect for this guy, not only for his skill but also for the way he always comes up on top when fighting words with Kosheck.
Besides, i believe he ment it when he said he would fight Kosh at his own weight class. Serious warrior spirit right there folks!

I´m pulling for this guy to win this season.

War Cody!!!

McCall, Faber, Aldo, Nate, Nick, Lyoto, TBD, Hunt
Forever hanging in Anderson Silva nuts

Actually, with the hair, weight class, and the Alaskan fisherman background, I thought Guida. Different style, but it appears that Cody will bring it every time.

I'd love it if he evolved more into an Evan Tanner-type figure, dangerous guard and all. Miss him.

I dont see Cody as having a dangerous guard. I see it as being dangerous to take him down with a double or even a single leg.

I'm saying that I hope that's the type of fighter he evolves into; comfortable on the ground and on his back. Otherwise, his opponents are just going to figure out a way to keep it standing.

He should call his guillotine "The Deadliest Catch"

the best part of it was after he put him to sleep he showed no expression. he just rolled the dude off him, calmly walked over to where kos and his coaches were sitting, gave them a quick staredown, and they couldnt say or do anything about it. wow
