And even if Kos hadn't been the instigator the whole time that's no excuse to lay hands on someone over words.

btw, when Tate was making fun of Savak? They started that shit. Here's a transcript of what was said between Savak and Tate right after Kos PANTSED TATE ON TV.

Tate: Thanks now your gunna get me some ***** showing my dick on national TV
Savak: it not gunna the get you the nothing.
Tate: Da der dad der dader what?
Savak: Have a you a ever been the cut?
Tate: Da der da what?
Savak: Yeah you are a the male nurse bro
Tate: I don't understand what you are talking about? (middle eastern accent)

Is it just me or was Savak actually trying to threaten to cut Tate?

Oh and lastly, GSP didn't hire Tate to push Kos' buttons. Tate is a good friend and longtime employee of Team Jackson, he's there to assist with training like the other coaches. GSP actually seemed pretty disappointed that Tate let himself get drawn into Kos' headgames, and according to Andy Main's video blog, GSP sent Tate home after this to avoid future incidents.
That's exactly what I heard. I actually think he repeated himself by saying "Have you ever been cut? I'll cut you."

Everything I've seen just shows Koscheck as the one who instigated the entire war of words and once he started losing he resorted to violence, just like most bullies. Josh also had the most insincere apology to Dane Sayers.

The whole "I'm sorry for pushing you in the face but you pushed me." seems like he was blaming Dane for the entire incident when it was Tate's hands in Josh's face from what I remember. Dane's hands were on Kos' shoulders from what I remember.

Boy, it don't even matter about the apologies because Kos has truly turned into an arkward creep. Can't even defend him here.

Tate was just hanging out there by himself for what reason?

Didn't flinch or care that Koscheck just walks right up to him and sits down...

Extra camera man just happening to be standing by in the room with Tate...

Either they were told to make up or else that was just plain old scripted up the ying yang(likely both)...

a) there are cameras everywhere, all the time. its a reality show, they dont want anything interesting happening off tape, i believe its part of their contracts in fact. hell they even have had cameras in the bathrooms in the past. kos definitely ha dto know they would be following him in.

b) we dont know what all went on prior. maybe kos shooed everyone out of the room or something so they could talk. i do think kos went in there with an agenda. he was probably a little worried about the consequences of his actions, he could be kicked off the show, or at least look like a psycho on television (moreso than already, anyway).

but at the end of the day no i dont think they hand any of these guys scripts. there's really no need, people are stupid enough to make enjoyable reality tv without em. sometimes better than the writers. however i also don't think they are above telling kos "you'd probably better go apologize to that guy" so maybe you're right in that sense.

I agree, he put his hands on Tate and it was on camera, that is a pretty big deal. I agree with others, in that everything Kos said he got pissed about he has been doing the entire show. They disrespected GSP's fighter with the banging on the wall. When Kos went to the house he was smack talking and disrespecting GSP's fighter's in the back yard. Kos has made fun of GSP's accent many times. So to get so upset because one of GSP's staff did it to his fighters is just disingenuous. Kos was making fun of a black man because of his profession, does that make him a racist as well? Since he implied being a male nurse is something bad, maybe he is just a homophobe?

Yeah, despite cutting out the Kos apology [which was nice to see], its still slightly besides the point. Kos started the beef with the nurse and then Sevak jumped on the band wagon, which isn't on at all. The contestants should have the utmost respect for their opposition and their staff and team Koscheck has had all the decorum of a redneck rapist. This also negates the idea that GSP hired the nurse to get at Kos. Although not sure why they need a team paramedic when there's paramedics on call the whole time.

The on-call paramedics are there for legitimate injuries like thrown out backs, broken bones, dislocations etc, tings you need a hospital for. But things like swelling, muscle strains, etc, these are things a single paramedic in use of the team can handle very easily on his own without a visit to the ER, hell a basic EMT could handle that kind of stuff.

Oh ok, so every team most seasons would have a paramedic on hand?

To my knowledge yes.

Also, it costs a whole helluva lot more to have a doctor sit around and wait for something to happen vs a medic. Its a difference of about $50-100 an hour. Its good business sense to have a medic for superficial injuries.

Not every camp is going to bring their own on, the show provides their own EMT staff after all. But it could be as simple as the fact that he's very experienced with MMA-specific training safety and injury mitigation. I imagine working with Team Jackson for years as a medic would give you a particular angle on sports medicine.

Just as an example, there's a reason so many high-level fighters bring in Stitch or Leon Tabbs specifically instead of letting whoever happens to be available and local handle their cuts for the night. They want the best with the most relative experience.
