Welterweight coming up, after that I have no idea :/
Would be nice to see one of the new weight-classes up next time around though  |

can you believe it, they have more welerweight fighters, well maybe LW now, than any other division, why not LHW dam them. |

Well currently it looks like this:
BW - 21
FW - 25
LW - 58 (!)
WW - 51
MW - 41
LHW - 35
HW - 27
I'm actually more upset by BW and FW to be honest :/ |

Dude i REALLY hope this DOESNT HAPPEN! WHAT COMPLETE FAIL IF UFC ACTUALLY DOES THIS!
Pettis is already waiting forever and the other guys in the division are going to have to wait for this whole Ultimate Fighter show THEN wait for Pettis to get his shot THEN things go back to normal???
Id rather see a Cain vs JDS coaching because there isn't as many guys in the HW division that are in line for a title there. But a lot more goes into it then that so i hope this is just a rumor

I agree w/ this, but Dana is looking at the bottom line.
It isn't about the sport, it's about the money. And this was a contested finish that the UFC can use to promote TUF.
expect huge vignettes from the fight throughout the season. |

Dunno if you read the medical suspensions but Edgar is out til Feb 16th...add in a 6 to 8 week camp and the fact the UFC has filled there March and April cards already and you can see the problem with your statement.
As soon as they announced it will be a WW season I lost interest....TUF has been stale for awhile now IMO and they need to leave it on the shelf for a yr or 2. |
