To everyone arguing about Lesnar getting his shot at #1 status again, look at it this way. If (when) JDS beats Lesnar and IF he beats Cain, he'll be pretty undoubtedly the #1 HW in the world. He'll have already fought most of the top guys in the UFC HW division (sans Carwin and Mir).

I'm with ya. It's not like Lesnar was knocked out, he's just not used to having his ass kicked. If he can learn to absorb a punch and keep moving forward he'll be fine. I say GnP win in the first or second

Niether are really in a position to drop knowledge on the guys about MMA, I'd imagine a lot of the fighters might even be smarter fighters than Brock and JDS.

Hopefully it's Blackhouse coaches VS Brock's coaches. Orr team Brazil VS team rest of the english speaking world.

I'm with you in spirit, but my reality says JDS takes it. That said, I'll shet my pants where I sit if my boy Brock somehow pulls this off.

Brock is a winner. Young fighters would be crazy not to listen to his advise. The guy has succeeded in every endeavor he's gone after, college sports, entertainment, pro sports. He became the UFC champ and defended it twice. Meeting him and JDS will be invaluable.

Your lack of faith in the Brock distrubs me.

I'd have to go with Brock, JDS is a great fighter (relatively), but I don't see the typical JDS jab trading session working with Brock (even with Brock's awful chin).

I understand the decision ratings wise, but I would have preferred Edgar and Maynard. If Brock gets past JDS he will already have to climb back in the cage with Cain. JDS frankly shouldn't even have to risk his spot. Plus, Edgar and Maynard are both real talented guys and it would've given the UFC a big opportunity to put them over with the fans.

LOL, I apologize. I'm just still a little traumatized by the Cain Incident of 2010.
