TUF 13: Junior dos Santos brought 'Shogun' Rua and Jose Aldo to help train Team Cigano (Video)

Wow I didn't see that coming. This is going to be an unbelievable season.

I've been telling people for quite some time that Cigano's training partners are second to none and he's really going to prove it this season.

It will be interesting to see the interactions between Brock and JDS. I'm not expecting a bunch of animosity like Rashad/Rampage or Tito/Ken, but they are two very disimilar people. Brock is as Junior says a serious adult at the end of his athletic prime who doesn't waste words. Junior is a young man, just entering adulthood who seems to be pretty laid back and positive about life.

i think its going to get a lot of ratings on the simple fact taht Brock doesn't do a lot of camera time and people want to "get to know" brock lesnar and see the way he reacts in different situations. I know that this is 1 reason of the many that i will tune in.

JDS, Aldo, Shogun...

Youngest yet greatest coaching stff in TUF history? I think so.

Yeah Cigano is reportedly hilarious in training. There's some funny videos out there of him, one especially shows him goofing around doing some funny capoeira and burping super loud after sparring, lmao.

Yeah agreed and Rogerio and Rodrigo will certainly be paying a visit, and with Lyoto not scheduled to fight anytime soon I'd bet he'll definitely be there for an episode or two as well.

If JDS was smarter though he'd loan Aldo and Shogun to Brock's team, that way Brock's team has no legs left and they're too crippled to compete.

Didn't realize JDS speaks relatively decent English.

Didn't he do UFC post fight interviews through a translator or no? I can't remember. Maybe a few random sentences.

After the Gonzaga fight he spoke almost entirely on his own after fights (unless Joe asked a long-winded stoner question). Since a month or two after Nelson though he's been nearly fluent, you can see his personality coming through his english finally too. He must have known a little while before that he'd be on TUF and really studied his english.

Yeah, I'm really surprised by his English. Not long ago swpthleg coined the phrase "Ciganoglish" because his accent was so strong but it seems he's been working hard at it. I did notice that he could understand English in the press-conferences but decided to answer questions in Portuguese aside from some post-fight interviews.

It's really pretty amazing how far he's come in that department. Now if he had some combos aside from a right-hook left-uppercut =D
