Well depends how good his TD, look how good Siver was at the weekend. Not saying he'll be as good as Siver obviously, but I think the European lads will certainly be aiming to improve their wrestling, its absolutely imperative in the modern game.

The way I was hearing from limba about how they tried fighters out pretty much guaranteed for me tht there wouldn't be any strikers in the group.
And this just confirms it.
Most of them dull grapplers, half who can't even complete a single....good job TUF...-_-
Anyway Myles Jury, even if he doesn't win, which he should and probably will, is clearly the best of the bunch and will have a good career.
He and Torres are probably the best strikers there...which isn't saying much but meh.

Ryan McGillivray is pretty decent seen him fight in Edmonton, only reason I remember is because it was in a tournament for LGIO and he fought to a draw which left me wondering who would go on because both guys looked better than some of the other fighters involved.

Don't buy into that totally. The fighters had to demonstrate their grappling proficiency before they could show their other skills.
But if you couldn't look impressive rolling then you're not gonna make it in the UFC anyway. If Buakaw tried out and they showed JUST striking, he'd be by far the best striker ever seen, but in a real fight he'd just get taken down and schooled.

Except not really, guys like Rampage, Melvin Guillard, Carwin, Daley, Hardy.
Hell even a guy like Gray Maynard. None of these guys are proficient grapplers.
And that's not even counting the amount of wrestlers who are bad off their back and have no top game other than grinding in guard.
Guys like Edson Barboza...while competent, probably wouldn't make the cut either from what I'm hearing.
Not sure how a retarded BJJ competition is going to help you find out who the best fighter is.
Siver proved this Saturday that grappling just doesn't happen in MMA...someone's got to make it happen.
Any its a lot harder when someone is kicking and punching you.
Funny, because thats what most of this cast is....a bunch of non credentialed grapplers who probably couldn't hit a single on a guy like Kampmann, Hardy, Lyle, Johnson, or even Condit.
