TUF - Cro Cop
Now this conversations either gonna go one way or another... but as a proud fellow Croatian I am proud of what Cro Cop did achieve even though his years in the UFC weren't the best.
However, I think it would be a waste to the UFC to waste his talent, as well as his personality. Cro Cop is a funny, jovial, athletic ready to rock kind of guy that would make a awesome coach.
I want this thread to set ablaze and get Cro Cop on as the next TUF coach (he doesn't have to fight at the end... if Dana and Cro want to ... then by all means.)
Like I said my ultimate goal right now is to start a push to get him as a coach and have Dana consider it (because I don't have his personal phone number to call.) What do you guys think??? Cro Cop as a TUF coach???

I don't think that he would be interested about be a TUF coach, but of coarse we can only speculate.

Well,
I believe (I've met him) that if given the chance he would. Even though his spirits seem to be slightly off... he's got a great "I don't give up" attitude. I think he would not only boost ratings, but add that new depth to the show.

From what I've heard of how Cro Crop trains leads me to believe he would be a horrible coach.

The reason why his training varied was because he was trying to fulfill a full time position in 3 areas ... Croatian politics (we needed him in government... badly,) he was in the Anti-Terrorist unit (so they trained quite a bit) and on top of those two already he was a fighter.
When he came to the UFC it was just a culture shock to him. Bad timing pretty much. If he was 25 or so might of been a different story.

Despite him being a legend and me being a big fan of his, I don't think he should. He hasn't looked himself in the octagon at all and, like so many other legends, should probably just bow out.

Training with cops in a garage isn't going to cut it against 250+lbs professional athletes.

ATJ Lucko where he trained "in garage" as u say, is actualy in its full name called (in english) "Anti terorist unit". That means that it is no garage or a basement where guys meet and punch bags for fun, but in fact is a full time, time consuming and realy energy consuming WORK, which took some of his time and energy and is not by any means a thing u should so quickly underastimate and laugh about. In fact I am sure that some of those 250+lbs guys wouldnt last a week there. SO please do not talk shit about things u do not know or understand

A European TUF would work well. It would attract a lot of strikers as most of the TUF in the States are grapplers; Randy, Tito, Mir, Big Nog, Brock, Chael, LHW title holder, etc.
Plus I feel he has unfinished business in the Octagon. He should have easily have been able to beat Mir, Nelson, and Schaub. To attack is to win. He grew a lot more tentative over the years.
