It's that time again! You may have read that Season 14 will be the last season of TUF on Spike. That happens to be true, but that doesn't mean we're going to take our foot off the gas for a minute. With 32 hungry fighters walking in the door and the intensity of coaches Michael Bisping and Jason "Mayhem" Miller, you can bet that we're going to go out with a bang.
The fourteenth season of TUF kicks off with a two-hour premiere on September 21 at 9/8c, and it's going to blow the roof off the joint.

Having said that, it's time to meet the 32 men who will vie to become The Ultimate Fighter.

I'm excited to see what Mayhem has up his sleeve! And you know Bisping will have his share of shit talk! We are just a couple weeks away so lets get started! There are some experienced fighters coming in and some...not so much.

Good episode, I already was a huge Miller fan before this show but damn the guy grows on me every time.

The fight was good but wow both those guys were terribly predictable! Caraway was shooting in every 4 seconds and getting stuffed EVERY TIME but the worst part is that he actually landed a few of them!

That chant at the "weigh in's" started off supportive and ended up being disrespectful, I am glad Bisping's team lost and I hope they continue to lose.

I thought the song was funny and was surprised when he didn't laugh it off, it was clearly just a joke.

I also don't think I have seen such an undisciplined fighter as Brimage. Didn't do what corner told him to do at all; "explode" nope, "don't throw from the bottom" kept on doing it, "don't chase him" kept chasing him etc etc.

Very aggressive fighter but he needs to control the aggression and learn when to unleash.

Exactly. What was that. :confused02:

I think Miller did a good job with the BW's, but I think Bisping got the better of the FW. If i were to pick the four semi-finalists they would be Caraway/Bermudez/Brandao/Corassani and I see both of Bisping's guys making the finals.

Same here, even though I picked Brimage as the winner of TUF. And gotta love Mayhem "It's Bisping cornering him BJJ...".
Keep in mind new rules, you have till the semifinal round to pick a new fighter for 50K credits or pick one of the four finalists for 25K.

So going into the fight I had made my choice based on experience, but in the replay I am surprised how lucky Caraway got to walk away with the W. I say this only because that fool left his chin out there and kept dropping his hands. They guy is tough, but they need to teach him to tuck that chin and keep those hands up. They also need to teach him how not to forecast those TD's. Although I think the knee before the TD in the second actually hurt Brimage more than anyone was willing to admit because he basically gave up after and let the choke sink it.

The previews for the second episode makes it seem like the house blows up real quick!

I didn't write here in a long long time , but after watching the first 2 episodes of this season i have to share my feeling about it .

I absoulutly LOVE this season so far . after a couple of boring seasones with Medicore fighters at best . We have a Great line of fighters Great coaches and Great personality everywere on board .

for the first time in ages on TuF i can't wait to see the next episodes .

Just watched the episode.... Pretty much went how i thought. Brimage is exciting, but has little TDD and grappling. I always favour a good grappler over a good striker.

I'm hoping Caraway loses in the semi's, though i think he'll make it to the final. He's a boring fighter, the qualifying fight was a snoozefest and this wasn't much better. He had Brimage's back for about 4 minutes that first round and he couldn't finish, with really was dissappointing to see.

This may be controversial but I understand why Dodson is doing what he's doing. The way he doesn't make the finals is two fold, one he draws one of his teammates that can wrestle him to the ground, two he fades into the background and doesn't get a finale fight. By ratting his boys out he makes a character for himself that gives him the best chance at winning a roster spot.

The other thing to consider is that if Dana ranks the guys for the semi's and now that Bedford looked like crap if Dodson win's his fight and is impressive he'll get the better pick and the better chance at making the finals.

I was more disgusted by Bisping and his "I hated Hamill but we made each other better". I guess he neglected to mention that he purposely injured Hamill in practice so he didn't have to face him in the finale.

Happy for next week two fights means a finish and likely a control change.

I thought he looked good, complete domination.

I thought Mayhems dig at Bisping at the end was great. He didn't insult any of the fighters, he just went after Bisping directly.

Also I thought Mayhem took the tire joke very well. He isn't like a couple of coaches who pull a prank and when one is done on them it is war.

The fight was not that great. But it was pretty one sided...Josh landed some good shots tho. Bisping pissed me off so bad making the hand comment at the weigh ins....Why would you let the other team know you have an inside? Is he trying to turn team Miller into a team thats as disfunctional as his?

It is going to come to a head....Dodsen already said all his friends are on the other team so I think he is trying to distince hiomself rom team miller

I really dislike Akira. Too big of an ego. He messes with everybody's stuff and throws personal, rather mean insults and get's mad if somebody does the exact same thing to him what his done to others.

I mean the guy calls himself an artist for all those childish things.

I hope this theme of Bisping's team behaving like total asses and Mayhem's team beating them continues throughout the season.

First that little song that turned serious all of a sudden and now that guy with the "F**k you Johnny" sign.

Vengeance is sweet.
