Favorite moment in gaming? (spoilers obviously)

What is your favorite moment while playing a video game? It could be an ending, a fight sequence, a cutscene, flashback, anything that is inside a game that you loved more than any other moment.

Mine is when you return to Shadow Moses Island in MGS4. I wasn't expecting it at all and to go through that base again was just fantastic.

So, what is yours?

Most recently the reveal in bioshock, Thank you kindly. All though now that I think about it it's probably my all time favorite. Never seen it coming. The final scenes in CoD 4.

I felt genuinely sad in FF7 when Aries gets killed.

It's the first time I've seen an actual character that you play an expect to be their till the end killed *sniff*

I was like 'It'll be ok, I'll just give her a phoenix down after the cutscene'

But it wouldn't let me. Nooooooooooooooo.

--------------

Also loved the scene from MGS with psycho Mantis.

The bit where he tells you to put your controller down and it starts move. Then he starts telling you what games youve been playing.

I was like 'WTF'.

Yeah, Aeris was a tear jerker.

The prologue of Mirror's Edge always stuck in my mind.

Love the Liara's Final Gift scene in ME3

Let's see... the first time I got fully self-sufficient fort going in Dwarf Fortress No video for that one.

The Big Reveal/Ryan's death in Bioshock

Nicole...

Just a recent few.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

I don't know about my favorite for sure, but the final mission in Mass Effect 2 was pretty epic.

Probably my favourite. When Link finds the Master Sword and becomes a man on Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. (best game ever).

Aeris' death instantly comes to mind. One of the most emotional video game moments ever.

The scene where Tifa and Cloud fall into the Lifestream and relive Cloud's memories. Can't find a video of it that doesn't have some voiceover ruining the mood though. Great stuff.

Then hundreds of "HOLY SHIT!!!" moments in Battlefield 3.

When you see the first colossus in Shadow of the Colossus and when he finally falls down.

"The cake is a lie."

Entering Rapture in the beginning of Bioshock 1.

When the world ends in Majora's mask.

The ending of Final Fantasy X when Tidus walks through Yuna is another tear jerker for sure

Never forget them.

And at last the greatest ending to any video game ever. Red Dead Redemption. Everyone who played it knows what I'm talking about.

It felt SO ******* AWESOME!!!
