The used game thing honestly is not something that i spushing me away from xbox but actually towards it...ill explain lol
xbox is being honest out right and saying this is whats going to happen, we want you to know ahead of time before you buy our console. The no used game thing is what the Publishers want and demand
PS4 on the other hand is just saying they are not going to charge you for the used games....and then in the small notes say they are just going to leave it up to the publishers. which means its going to be the same way as xbox one
being connected once every 24 hours, this happens for me anyways since i play all my games online.
Knect always watching bs. honestly i like the features that it adds to it so its a plus for me.
I like the games for the xbox also, and it has all the games i would like to play heck we are even getting PS4's Kingdom of hearts.
Plus the online community is and most likely will be always better on xbox at least for me anyways
Honestly i would get it even if i did not like it more then the ps4 beacuse my gaming community that i have been playing with for 7+ years will be getting it
major + for me is the dedicated servers for each game, man that is going to help out games so much, i cant wait to see what the can do with it and the new tech.
I see ps4 starting out the being the top seller and then xbox pulling way ahead later on
(edit..add) really like the if you are banned you lose all games licenses. will improve the community so much as long as it is only done for serious bans and not just little 24 hour bans. going to have to look into this
The whole things bullshit mate.
Xbone and publishers are effectively punishing legitimate users for piracy and besides piracy isnt even that big on the PS3 and 360 compared to PC games.
And besides that, DRM has negligible to zero impact on profits. Want proof?
3 Strikes rule for downloaders was introduced in France - Perceived outcome - Sales of media would increase - Actual outcome - Sales decreased by 7%
The Witcher 2 released for PC without any DRM - Publishers perceived outcome - Would not effect sales - Actual outcome - Sales not affected, title went in a number 1 in the charts.
Heres a fact - A legitimate buyer of game for the PC such as Assassins Creed has to jump through several hoops before being able to play the game - registration, online activation, CD being in the computer, computer connected to internet ect. Someone who pirates the game simply installs it and is good to go.
If you buy a movie on DVD or Bluray - you get the privilege of having to sit through the anti-piracy message then 10 minutes of trailers before you can even watch the damn movie. Downloaders, simply download and go.
Notice a pattern? The entertainments industry have got such a bee in their bonnet about piracy that they are prepared to make their customers suffer for it. Meanwhile, back on Monkey Island, Le Chuck, Guybrush Threepwood and friends are laughing their heads off at them.
As customers we should make a stand. Microsoft have proven they don't give a shit what customers want, so have the likes EA. They want to decide how you consume your media. **** them. The only language they understand is £$£$£. We as consumers can make a stand and send a message that we are not buying the shit they are pushing.
If anyone has 5 minutes to spare check out this video - its funny and gives an insight to the bullshit the Entertainments Industry likes to spew -
