Just clear one thing up - When I said the whole things bullshit, I meant the Xbone situation, not what you wrote.
My point is that although for most of the users of the new Xbox, none of the security measures and restrictions will have any impact for them, but for some it will.
What Microsoft and some publishers are trying to do is plain wrong, whether it affects you or not.
You should be able to
- Swap games
- Rent games
- Trade games
- Play without internet
- Play without Kinect
- Not have potentially ££££'s worth in game titles made unplayable because you've been banned.
In my opinion buying and agreeing to this crap is like saying 'Hey, I'm fine with what you guys are doing'. Even the most hardened Xbox fan with lots of money and great internet connection can understand that some people are not so fortunate, in terms of internet connections, money or both.
If the Xbox one was to win this console war then a precedent would be set for the future of gaming, and honestly I don't agree with Microsoft and Co's vision for it.
I was on the fence about which to buy before E3. But now its clear, I'll buy a PS4 - hell I'll even buy a nintendo before a Xbone and I vowed never to buy another nintendo again after the Wii. My decision is based on moral stance not a technical one. Frankly, Micro$oft can take their DRM system and shove it up their arse, and I say that on behalf of the people who don't have a great internet connection, the people who don't have a lot of money and the people who believe in fair trading.
