There is nothing wrong with what I said you just simply had no idea that Bruce Lee studied Judo,Boxing, etc... Every single morning so you saying That Lee would be surprised against Royce is a joke. Do you think Royce would win the stand up against Lee also ?

My issue was you saying Bruce knew BJJ before Royce did. That means Bruce would have been in Brazil training with Helio and Carlos. Which was absurdly off base. He may have known judo techniques and studied them plenty. But so did ken shamrock as well as others that royce beat who's names escape me because they made their names fighting and not acting.

I acknowledge Bruce's technical skill but he NEVER fought. That's where this ends. He never fought. When he got Kareem in side control and put him in an arm triangle you saw that in a MOVIE! Where the actions were pre-determined. You're essentially telling me that The Rock would be an amazing mma fighter because he was a great wrestler that won a lot. Hell better yet the guy who plays Capitan America would be world champion he just beat GSP's ass and Georges was actually a fighter not a BASKETBALL PLAYER!

Finally Bruce doesn't put Kareem in side control that's kesa gatame and don't even get me started on the arm triangle or the arm bar be uses in a different movie are you kidding? In a predetermined action he does it that badly you're asking me to believe under pressure with a black belt resisting fully he'd have anything for Royce?

I feel like I've had conversations with you previously and you train bjj and Thai boxing, you can't be serious with this. I am a huge Bruce Lee fan, I've had his posters on my wall. I love his philosophy and his movies and I don't doubt he'd be a monster mma fighter in today's time but he was an actor not a fighter. There are guys who were just as fast and just as strong and just as technical and now guys who surpass all of that just because he was first doesn't make him the best. Matt Hughes can show you that.

GJ you had his poster on the wall but have no knowledge about him before he be came and actor.
Bruce lee had western boxers, karate masters, judo masters etc..all come to his house and train with him every single day, while Royce trained one martial art Lee trained judo techniques from 10th degree black belts like Gene Lebell you know that martial art that has better take downs then BJJ ask Rhonda.
At 5:10 in this video you can easily tell that Lee was no slouch on the ground he also mentions several times in this video that JEET kune Do is a Counter to one art bjj, karate,or boxing.Looking at Royces physic in my opinion he would't stand a chance with prime Lee.

Okay. This is ending now. We can discuss this privately if you wish. I'm not derailing this thread anymore. It is also very obvious that we are just going to say the same things back and forth.

Or if you want the discussion public make a thread about it we can link to it. Finally I find it disheartening that I just state my point and you feel the need to make statements about me, saying I know nothing, which I could very easily have blindly speculated about your knowledge to stress my point and made it seem more significant. That is what is happening on this forum way too much. Make your point with your knowledge not by attacking/discrediting another, it just makes the board an ugly place.

The second half of that is not directly to you, more to everyone in general.

I really hope that isn't it. Because that is horribly small for each division.

EDIT: Nevermind, I read the link and it says it is not final and more are coming.
