WTF Konami! $30.00 for a f*cking demo!

So rumor has it, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a complete cash grab. In fact, it seems it is one of the worst cash grabs in video game history. $30.00 for a game whose main mission is an hour long. An hour or two longer if you do some of the side missions. So if I am understanding this right, Konami is trying to **** my wallet by selling me a short demo that has no real story, no character development, and no additional content. If you are a hardcore fan of the series why would you pay $30.00 for something that should rightfully be $5.00? Do you really want other gaming companies to follow this kind of example?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

You are just going by hear say....

Its not really a demo though, people keep saying that... but unless i am mistaken it won't be part of Phantom Pain, so its still it own thing. Its seems quite repayable too, i think when all is said and done i will have played it as much as some other big releases... like say... Bioshock Infinite.

30$ is way too much, even for Konami.

It isn't a "Demo" like a literal demo. But it is a bit much for what pretty much amounts to something that could have been DLC for a couple bucks.

I bought it and felt ripped off. I beat the main mission in 40 minutes and the other missions are boring and short side missions that they slapped on there because they had to have something more than 40 minutes of gameplay for $30 (was going to be 40 before fan outcry I believe). You can beat the game in 10 minutes easily once you know where the two main objectives are.

I mean it's half the price of a full retail game. Does this mean that when the full MGS game comes out next year or whenever, that for $60 we are going to get 20 minutes of gameplay instead of 10 this time? We paid $30 for 10 minutes, so $60 for 20?

It was just a cheap cash in by Konami and I'd get my money back if I could.
