I got a code to download it on my 360, early, too. (used to work in gaming, hit up a contact for a sneak peek)

Pretty slick presentation and i like that there is no health bar in it. Hope that's not only for the demo.

The health bar is turned off as default, but can be put back on in the options menu.

Not tried it, but I think it adds to the game not having it on display and just reading when a fighter is hurt or gassed by their expressions and movements.

I've been playing as Shogun because my CAF will be a MT/BJJ guy and I've been playing on advanced. Its alot harder to keep it on the ground on this difficulty as Chuck always ends up back in guard and then pushing you off. I really like how 1 mistake striking against Chuck and it can be all over.

If you guys thought finishing subs was hard try the game on advanced or expert as Chuck and see how hard it is to escape Shoguns subs, its almost impossible. As for finishing subs I found it easier to work the legs and body early in the fight to affect the speed and stamina of your opponent, then try subs round 2-3. Knocking somebody down and jumping into their guard also works.

If anyone plays on the higher difficulties, how big of a pain in the ass is Shogun with the rubber guard or even on the ground in general.
I play on the hardest difficulty too. Shogun is a bitch on the ground...rubber guard...triangle. he's goes for a submission everytime!

When playing vs Chuck, he sweeps a lot and counters your transitions.

I just need to figure out all the other undisclosed moves now. Someone mentioned a Rampage slam etc.

I got the demo 2 days ago, and I've played for an hour or so, I personally love it, I think most will love it as well. I got the striking figured out but I'm still learning the submission game, know how to reverse and all but I couldn't pull any submission off yet.

Got it last night due to a member who happens to be... cool as ****! you know who you are >_>

Anyways, it is way better than I thought it was going to be. im a huge fan of fight night round 3, and absolutely wanted the sticks to control your strikes instead of buttons. But they managed to make it work (/w chuck) transitioning from jabs/straights to left hook/overhandright and making easy to go to the body /w those and leg kicks, or the head with leg kicks, or to the legs. I haven't managed to submit anyone yet xD although im getting better at taking shogun down, im becoming a big fan of ground and pound due to this game ^_^

Yeah Goldie makes mistakes and corrects himself alot in the game just like in real life but ive been trying and trying and I can't figure out how to do those slams. I keep doing them by mistake every few fights or so but i just cannot pinpoint it. If anyone figures it out be sure to let everyone else know.

I cannot get over how fun this game is and i keep avenging Chuck's loss over and over again hahaha.

I wonder if it will be better on 360 or ps3? With the smaller ps remote, maybe using the buttons will be easier, but I play 360 a lot more. How much is the right joystick used and for what? I would think graphics might be a little cleaner on ps.

Thoughts/suggestions?
