UFC Undisputed Video Game 2009 (NEED HELP)

Guys,
I have been playing and playing this game. When I take Chuck down I hit the right analog stick down and it usually goes for a submission attempt. How the hank can I secure the move. I usually get so excited I just start hitting buttons then Chuck rolls on top of me. Can someone please help me and inform me how to do submissions.

THANK

KDG

Circle the same analog stick really fast and it will secure the submission. There are two ways to get out of submissions, one way is to "power" out of it by button mashing all the buttons, or you can do a "technical" escape where you circle the analog stick really quick.

Thanks,
Does it matter what way your cirle the analog. Also, what percentage if I am playing on beginner will Chuck tap out.

It doesn't matter which way. I've done submissions circling it ccw and cw.

You can smash the A+B+Y+X button to secure a submission but I prefer to move the joystick in circles (clock wise). Getting a submission in the first round is hard. I'd recommend working Chuck with the clinch and body shots. If you can rock him then try to submit him.

The only time I've gotten a submission was by mashing the letter buttons. I couldn't circle the stick fast enough.

The consensus on gaming sites seems to be that subs on the AI are next to impossible on any setting but beginner and/or unless your opponent is already dazed.

I read in an interview with THQ someplace that it is actually something they are addressing for the final version, that it doesn't work properly in the demo. Personally, i haven't finished one fight with a sub but i've been playing on expert -- lots of transition practice when playing against Shogun.

Try using your palm to rotate the stick, it seems to make for a smoother rotation.
