one thing i don't like about the game

i hate how when you're on the ground and you're on top and the opponent goes for a submission attempt and you escape and everytime you do that you stand up and lose your position, am i just doing something wrong?

I assume your doing the brute force escape (tapping the strike buttons quickly). If you use the technical escape (rotate the right stick quickly in either direction) you will likely end up in a better position.

Note: You might not be able to use the technical escape with Chuck, as he isn't a technical BJJ fighter.

Yeah, you got to think of fighter safety.

It's kind of annoying that the mouth piece comes out on every KO.

Rofl. It cracks me up how it comes out every time. Also, yeah. The answer to the OP's question is what everyone else has been saying, however even Chuck can perform technical escapes, it's just slightly more difficult, but Chuck has awesome sub defense so it's nothing too hard. So, just rotate the stick and you'll end up in a better position.

i also think it's hilarious how often they stick the leg in behind the guy al la Gonzaga's KO of Mirko... like, how often does that happen? every second fight if THQ is to be believed. haha.

I had a KO yesterday where it was a right high kick that missed but hit him on the chin as it was coming back down.

It was like Street Fighter and Ken/Ryu's Axe kick.
