Do you think that we should all just get one guy to use. I am in another league like that and it is really fun. You can just randomize each people in each division and its like a draft lottery. You can also use caf's but there should be a limit on how good they are for instance no submission offense over 98 and no punching poew over 90. Just so it is somewhat fair for everyone.

Well, I guess I should have reread the rules since you changed them. I just beat Kilik with my lvl 77 CAF against his lvl 90 something. It would have been a lot easier with a real fighter

I'll definitely bring this up with the staff. Thanks for the suggestion.

Your welcome. I just think it will be cooler if we have to train with one guy and try to perfect his skills.

It makes me wonder what difficulty level they are playing on. I played mine through on advanced and maxed out my first guy at 77. My second guy is only half-way through his career (just lost first title shot) and he is at 66ish.

I should try creating a guy on Beginner to see if I can dominate the game and create a lvl 150

Here's something for you, guys:

Today I discovered I get a lot of points with my judo just by doing trips and throws (like 37 each, sparring points, not skill points).

it's not about the ranking of the CAF, guys. I beat a 115 yesterday no problem. it's how you play.

my CAF has 107 striking and i've only knocked two people out in my 40 wins accrued under him -- and both of those were in the clinch so they were not even from his strikign rating but his 90-rated clinch striking. My CAF sub rating is like 98 and i sub everyone... CAFs with higher ratings, or not, because i got quick thumbs. people should worry less about the fighters other use and more about their own skill

Yeah, of course it is more about the skill of the player and not the fighter, however the skill of the fighter comes into play. In my forum matchup, I beat the guy pretty bad in some parts and never even knocked him down because he had a 90 something standup defense. I had a decision of 30-26 and still couldn't KO him. The better fighter will still usually lose, but the defensive stats definitely keep some players alive when they should be out for the count.

i'm sure that is a valid point, it makes sense. But the fact that with my 98 sub rating i sub'd a guy with a 109 sub defence rating yesterday makes me think there is more skill at play than stats. It's not as if i drained his whole stamina bar in a sub, i just sub'd him with a flying armbar after i let him blow his wad by kneeing my body in the clinch... one of my fav techniques.

next CAF: Rickson Gracie at MW. hehe... lets see just how exaggerated a sub rating can be

I have to say that anyone can get caught thats why this game is so great. You could be winning the whole fight and get knocked out in the last 10 seconds of the third round. But even though anyone can get caught its still a disadvantage.
