UFC undisputed gameplay sped up on HDTV

Allright guys I have a serious issue. ive been playing the demo on a standard definition TV since the demo came out and everything has been smooth and fine just not high def. yesterday I decided to see what the game looked like in HD. So I brought my 360 up stairs and plugged it into our 30 inch HDTV via the HDMI cable as per usual.

Now I use the HDTV for almost ALL of my gaming and have never had this issue before but for some reason it speeds the entire game up by a few seconds. Not just the clock I mean i know thats excelerated. But the fighters and movements and everything feels like it's on turbo mode. Litterally like someone pressed a fastforward button.

Weirder yet the audio is fine. Only the visuals speed up and the audio stays the same. Buffer continues speaking even though on screeen he is gone basicly.

SO I freak out thinking shit my 360 is dyeing AGAIN but I plug it back in to my standard def tv downstairs and low and behold it's working fine again. Movements are normal and everything looks and feels correctly.

I know it's not an error on my side because ive been gaming on HDTV's for a few good years now and I know my tech shit but I am just beyond puzzled and wnated to know if anyone else could test this out to see if it does the same for them.

This is the demo however i havent gotten the retail copy yet and wont until friday when it is released in the UK. But any help would be greatly appreciated cause I hate playingon standard definition tv's.

I don't believe it's a game problem because I, and a bunch of my friends use HD tvs and it runs perfectly fine. Might be your hdmi cable or your tv.

But it's not I just got done playing Far Cry 2 on that tv and it plays fine as do all the other games.

If youve only played it on the HD tv you probably dont notice it but ive played on both and the difference is HUGE.

It is on the HDD at the moment because it's the demo but ill pick up the real game Friday when it's released for the UK but ill live until then I guess haha.

Hopefully it's jsut an issue with the demo itself.

Sh** man, let's hope it's just the demo doing it, and not the game.

As I said if youve only played on an HD tv you wouldnt notice the difference but if you have just been playing it in standard def then go to play on the Hi def tv you notice a HUGE differnece and this could mean some serious issues for online gameplay.

That is if it's an issue with all copies and not just my download of the demo if for instanace one guy is on a standard tv and the other HD. The guy in HD is going to be moving a seperate pace than the other guy and the guy on the standard def will feel like he is getting lag.

I doubt that would be the issue but it's kind of scaring me a bit. Just if anyone else gets the chance please test this out to confirm whether or not it's just my copy or something really screwed up with my tv settings that only effexts this demo lol.

I'm not following your logic. Whether or not I or anyone else played it on non-HD wouldn't make a difference to us noticing that the sounds don't synch up correctly. I've played the actual game for a few hours this morning and all the voices synched up correctly to what was being showed by the graphics.
