Inviting people online?

Anyone figured out how to get people from your PS3 friend's list into a game session. Me and the Dudeabides were trying earlier, and all it seemed to do was send a message, it didn't have an option to join the game....

Any help would be appreciated.

PS3 is far superior to XBox. Don't blame the system for the failure of the software/user.

Now does anyone have anything constructive to add?

After you and me gave up, I invited another guy and he came right into the screen, must have been just a one time fluke. If ya wanna try again let me know! I lost to Mir with Cro Cop online, and beat Griffin with Evans so I'm pretty 50/50.

Now hours later, know how to play online all against people I know in those private 'player' matches, but not the rated matches. They keep asking me, and everytime I do a rated match it gives me a random opponent, but on the nonrated I can invite whoever from my list. What's up with that?

No. I find inviting people online works best when you lie to them about how old you are and what you do for a living.
