Submissions hard but wtf?

Ok my first few created guys were bad arse strikers but there submissions were only at 80. So i could understand why i could never pull a submission, thus i got tired of that. So i wanted a better submissions fighter, well now my guy is Maxed out in BJJ camps and stats(114 sub offense)

figured that would do the trick......nope still cant pull them. So i wait till the are dazed and try, still no good.
i noticed my strength not maxed so, i max that and my speed. No new results, dazed, gazed......i cant submit someone.

and yes i know the submissions and how to do them, i can pull them on buddies all the time. the computer is a different story.

any suggestions to help my sorry arse?

Umm... I'm really not sure how to help you. My guy has 92 sub offense and defense and I can sub everyone without better BJJ skills in the first round on expert.

All I can say to help you is mash the buttons as fast as you can. Try to execute the submissions from mount, side mount or sprawl position because the more dominant your position is the better are your chances of pulling off the sub.

what do you mean mash the buttons?(rotating the stick?)
i do that just fine stopping takedowns and what not. what buttons aside from the original submission trigger and joy stick are you supposed ti be mashing?

Do you run out of stamina in the middle of the sub? If so, that's your answer

rotating the stick = techical escape (no button mashing can sub you if you have good sub defense and do this, unless you are hurt bad) and if you have high strength, then button mashing is the better thing to do. Knowing my opponents stats helps me choose what one I will do.

1. i dont think its a staminia issue
2. so basically what is being said is: if a guy has good sub defense, he cannot be submitted period? even if there defense is in the 80's, My 114 offense is still considerbly higher in rhetrospect.
3. Button Mashing? since rotating the joystick doesnt appear to be the answer, am i supposed to be hitting buttons really fast?

you gotta man up and use your palm man. dont so much spin with your right hand, move your controller with both hands, I dont know its a rhythm

lol damn, i already spin with my left hand since im left handed and can spin 3x as fast the way.(my palm actually hurts from hitting it fast) so as i am doing this do i need to mash other buttons like eg...x,y,etc.

bc i am not currently doing that and that could be the answer right there?

Rotating the stick only helps to ESCAPE technically, when you are on the offensive side of a submission you can either mash the 4 attack buttons or rotate the stick, it's no difference. And since my hand starts to hurt when I rotate the stick for a bit, I usually mash the buttons when I'm on the attack.

And yeah, it's really hard to sub guys with good sub defense. When I was playing D.P. the other day he chose Micke Swick with a sub defense of ca. 60 and I had no problem subbing him with my 92 sub offense. In our second fight when I used Big Nog and he was Frank Mir I didn't even come close to subbing him.

What I usually do to sub guys with good sub defense is mount them and (try to) block all their transitions. When I feel that they might have gassed a bit (I play without stamina meter) I just go for the armbar or triangle choke and mash the attack buttons like a bitch.

Wow, I really need another word that is synonymous to "sub".
