I don't hate the game at all. To me, it was a fantastic leap from where the other MMA games were. However, it isn't perfect.

I'd play it 24/7 if it wasn't for the outrageous lag online and nerd-rage-quitters.

2009 got repetitive extremely fast, can't see that this will be any different.

Looking forward to EA MMA, Ea knows sports games. THQ is a joke and when compared to EA, it's not even a company.

Up close the graphics look like they've seen a decent improvement. Hopefully the gameplay gets tweaked a little better. This game could end up being pretty good but after the last outing I can't help but think EA will do a better job. As awful as EA games can sometimes be, the way they handle Fight Night gives me a lotta hope for their MMA game.

And I thought UFC 2009 was pretty good but I really only played the Demo and played other people's copies of the game so never put much time into it. My general feelings about it though are that its definitely the closest anyone's come so far to emulating MMA in a game but it could definitely use some improvement. For their first release in the series it did a great job though and hopefully the sophomore release will improve on what was wrong with the first.

I loved this game. I still play it very often, almost a year after it's release. I can't wait for 2010. What pisses me off though is that UFC didn't sign with EA sports instead of THQ. THQ sucks at making sports games and EA would have done a great job.

you must not be a good gamer, EA is garbage at making games, they are mainly a distribution company, Madden looks good but once you get down to the Franchise mode and other game modes, they are bare bone, same with their other sports games...This is coming from someone who has been playing EA sports games for 12+ years because no one does other sports games properly.

and I cant even list all the problems with NHL 10 online...This was the first MMA game, so obviously wont be perfect the first time around.

I don't know I always liked THQ. They made great wrestling games back in the day for N64.

Im glad that THQ is with UFC and EA get Strikeforce & Dream. It kinda evens everything out and gives us 2 games to look forward too then just 1.

Besides if EA had the rights there would only be one game. It would only be a matter of time before they started bealy doing anything every year like they do with every other game.

2009 was cool. I spent hours developing my custom character, then got burnt out on the game

09 was a good first effort. it had a few gliches and such but apparently that was a new system they built purely for that game. Gameplay should take priority, i dont care how good it looks if a fighter falls straight through the floor during a takedown.
