Anybody else go to side control from mount down offense most of the time even though you try to go the other way?

Dude: yes that happens to me quite a bit, but I tend to opt for wild ground n pepper when I finally manage to earn a top position, so I'm rarely in mount down offense yet.

Yeah, it seems Rashad has some killer elbows from side control, almost don't even want to go to mount then.

The difference between a quarter turn and a 3 quarter turns is really small this year. You have to be careful to do a quarter turn to posture up from mount down.

Breaking mount is quite tricky. Either the guy stops you posturing, or you end up in Side control again. Just gotta get used to it I guess. GnP from side is very powerful though, so isn't too bad.

Machida is my fav. His elbows on the inside and take downs are lethal. He wasn't the greatest last year. I'm happy they made him like he's supposed to be.
