I have a ps3 and a wii, the wii is the most disappointing console I've ever had. (Repackaged gamecube)

I wont buy Sony products anymore because Sony basically funds all the anti piracy lawsuits.

I can't stand that to use the ps vita you need a internet connection or almost all of its functionality is restricted because Sony wants to see everything you do. I returned mine.

So I guess I'm left with xb or wii. Ill probably grab another wii console and grab the xbox when it drops later.

Ultimately I think I'm going to go back to PC gaming, its still better. Open console gaming is hard to beat.

From a purely technical stand point, pc gaming is vastly superior to console gaming.

I made the switch from consoles to pc two years ago and haven't looked back.

I was never a big console gamer to begin with.

Been toying with the idea of playing GW2. Couple of my buds are bugging me to get it.

The thing is, I don't really game that much at all. A couple of nights a week I game a few hours, I rarely play more than 10 hours a week. The exception is the weeks after a big game is released that I really wanna play all day long like Skyrim. Also, a lot of the games on the list I haven't even played, I just bought when they were on the sale, cause I like them and might wanna play them in the future like Quake+DOOM, that's 15 games right there. The good thing with a big collection like this is that I am never bored.

I've also been on Steam since 2004. That's a long ass time and many games and sales ago.

I'd recommend it obviously. But beware, there (and it ******* pains me to say this) isn't a lot to do once you hit level 80. There are dungeons...which are okay, and level 80 zones with meta events which are cool. And the Dragon events are okay (Shatterer and Claw of Jormag) but other than that...

Anet have said there will be more end game content added in post release, so there is hope. GW1 had two high end zones called the Fissure of Woe and The Underworld on release, which were homes of two of the Gods of the series (Balthazar and Grenth) so I hope they make an appearance.

I'm still playing, and still enjoying. But right now, me and my Guild are all pretty sure we won't be playing it for as long as we did Guild Wars 1 (since release) unless something huge is added in. Mainly, a decent type of PvP. sPvP and WvWvW are fun for a short time, but they lack the competitive PvP that GW1 had in Heroes Ascent and Guild vs Guild.

But, with it paying free to play once you're purchased, waiting for content to be added isn't a huge deal. You'll probably enjoy getting to 80 and playing for quite a while after anyways.

The Wii U has officially sold out from GameStop, Best Buy and Toys R Us, so for any of you wanting one - better hurry to try and get one reserved from.. somewhere.

I been playing Black Mesa, man I love it. Half-Life is one of my favorite games of all time and the remake is exactly as expected. It reminds me how good Valve is at making games when Half-Life, release in 1998, is still better than any FPS I've played this entire generation. The only issue with it is the jumping, it's a lot more "realistic" than it was in the original, so it takes some getting used to during the platforming.
