The 360 version gets all Skyrim DLC 30 days before other versions, so you lucked out.

Dawnguard - adds about 20 hours of content (story/quests), crossbows, mounted combat, (a really awesome transformation that I won't spoil for you), your own castle (if you make a choice), new shouts, spells, dragonbone weapons, a new follower, basically pick this up immediately if you seriously get into the game.

Hearthfire - adds 3 new homes you can build from the ground up + the ability to adopt children. Pretty neat stuff but not necessary/nothing too special. Pass on this one unless you just want as much content as possible (I enjoyed it).

Dragonborn - this is the one that comes out in 2 days. It adds about 20-30 hours of content (story/quests/island to explore), it adds multiple new houses to buy, it adds a new follower and romance option, it adds new armor, weapons, ability to ride dragons, new shouts, etc. Basically, buy this one too (but from what I understand, it's best you beat the main story of the core game first).

Cool.

Two tips going into it:

1. Start leveling up your Blacksmithing from the beginning of the game. It's tough to get it to 100 but you will need it when you get high enough, that's where the best armor/weapons come from. Just level it gradually when you hit town if you come across ores/ignots to use on your quests.

The higher sell price on the item you make = the more exp you get for making that item. So, say you can make an iron dagger that can sell for 200 gold, that will give you far less blacksmithing exp than if you make a ring that sells for 800, so try to find the highest price items to craft with the easiest materials to make it for maximum blacksmith leveling.

2. Avoid destruction magic. As you level up, your offensive (destruction) magic actually gets weaker and at around level 30 or so, all melee/archery combat methods are superior and will continue to grow as your magic continues to get worse. Other magic schools like Restoration are quite useful, though (always get high restoration IMO).

The rest is all up to you.

I have live but it's not a multiplayer game, it's just ridiculously huge. I wish you could hop into someones game, though.

Picked up Skyrm the other day (Im late I know) Im pretty excited about it though!

Also thinking hard about picking up WOW
Skyrim was amazing. I played the living hell out of that game. Everything in my old Xbox went to hell though so I lost everything.

As for WoW. I don't know if you have played it before but you have to like that kind of game tbh. I love it although I don't play it quite as often anymore. Lots of grinding (especially in the latest expansion), learning curve can be somewhat difficult just because of the number of abilities and mechanics going on. If you have the time to put into it, it is a very fun game.

I wouldn't pick up WoW now. No way. And that's not to say it's a bad game, it obviously isn't. But jumping into a game so many years after its release isn't going to be all that fun (imo)

I'd get a newer MMO if it were me.

WoW isn't tough to get into. And there aren't really many good mmo's out tbh. The only one I would ever play other than WoW would be Guild Wars but that end game just still isn't where it needs to be and the leveling was kind of mind numbing after awhile.

WoW is still around because of how polished it is. It does an insanely good job at easing a player into their abilities and gameplay. The end game is above and beyond the best in any mmo on the market and that's why I would go with wow. Nothing worse than investing time to level cap, and then finding out that you hate the end game.

The tough part is when you are juggling everything later on but that's with any mmo.

EDIT: I will say that this is just my experience, and you should look into free trials or play someone's account to see which you would like.
