I managed to pick up Deus Ex: Human Revolution for 8 ($15) and have been giving that a go. Its got a great story and everything but the combat and cover system is just batshit crazy!!

Its funny! I agree with everything you just said about it having a good story but for some reason I could not get into Dues Ex: Human Revolution. You would think it would be something I would be able to sink my teeth into because of the story and the visual style. Instead, its one of those games I have to be in the mood to play.

Anyways, I just pulled out Tales of Vesperia. I like the animation but so far I am sucking at this game.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I'm looking for a new RPG, I tried the demo of that and I cannot get beyond the art style/voice acting. It's way too "anime" for me, I really dislike that anime/cartoon stuff.

It's very difficult to find a classic style RPG without that kind of art style these days. I'm struggling. There's a new RPG that plays really well I hear and has a good story called Ni No Kuni, but I cannot get beyond the awful anime art style to play it.

Picked up a used copy of FFXIII today, $15 smackaroos.

I think a brand new copy is only like $20... but that's $5 more. lol.

Ya it's pretty bad, but if you want the worse of the worse pick up ET for atari....

And that angry nerd dude is hilarious.

Oh, man! Never had the pleasure of playing this game (Thank God) but I do remember the review the Angry Video Game Nerd made for this particular game. I think he said it was one of the worst he had ever played.

haven't played ET for the atari soakked and yeah james rolfe (Angry video game nerd) is hilarious) bonnar never play this vile piece of shit, they give you a weapon as dr jekyll that doesn't work at all except on some tiny bees that show up half way through the game and aren't a threat, everyone in the town wants to kill you and they can and you walk so slow.

Then if you die as jekyll you become mr hyde and if you don't turn back to jekyll before you reached the point you were with him thunder strikes you and you die. I've played hard games like silver surfer for NES and Dragon's lair but this game isn't just hard it's incredibly awful and it's not even worth testing it out for yourself.
