It's awesome. If you like games like Bioshock. The graphics are way above average, story is very well done. The gameplay is the same as the other Bioshock games if you have played them.

I've never understood the point of leveling more than 2 max's tbh, takes too much time to gear them up, unless you're a player who enjoys leveling and playing different classes.

It is a bit overrated, but still a good game worth playing.

I'm going to start farming for my Dios+ slime Lance in Monster Hunter, and also purhcased a game I haven't had the pleasure to ever play; Vampires: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Then I'm also playing Borderlands 2 on PC with a friend about 5 hours or so a week, not much so it will take a while to get through it, but a fun side game.

So I'll be busy with those 3 games for now.

I am an idiot. I didn't realize that song the quartet was singing in the beginning of the game was from the beach boys until someone told me. Then all of a sudden the song seemed very familiar. How did I miss that?

Its funny! My second playthrough and I just started noticing how wrong the music in this game really is. I'm walking down a hall and all of a sudden I'm hearing Happy
Shiny People being sung in this barber shop style type of music. Weird!

It was an INCREDIBLE game. I could poke some holes in the story (especially the ending) and the gameplay had some minor annoyances, even a few bugs, but all around this was exciting, moving, thought-provoking GOTY material. Loved it.

Oh and there is a fairly obvious and lengthy Bioshock 1 homage in it, so it might pay off to watch the intro video for that game on Youtube before you play this... just mentioning since someone had asked if you needed to have played the first two.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

It really isn't that much work if you play more than a couple of times per week. In Cataclysm, I had 6 85's with I think 4 of them geared enough for that raid tier with 2 being extremely geared. The only tedious part is the beginning of the gearing experience which consists of running heroics over and over. But once you unlock the lfr on the characters it's just a matter of doing it on each of them once per week.

MoP made gearing more difficult than in Cata, but it's still very manageable.

As for why people do it, there are a number of reasons. The people in the "hardcore" guilds need the alternates. They swap classes in and out, do multiple runs per week. (Which requires another character as the main one will be locked until reset day).

If you want more than 2 professions you need extra characters. And as you said, some people just like having extra classes.

Me personally, I'm a bit of everything. Once your main starts nearing a gear plateau, it makes it a lot more fun to have another character to mess around with. I also used to do multiple runs every week.

I'm working on my 3rd 90 right now. My second one happened quick. Mostly because I leveled my Mage first which I played and raided through every tier in Cataclysm with. Made it to 90 to find out I wanted something new, so I leveled my hunter.

Started playing RAGE today. It seems good so far. I like the graphics. I'm sort of confused as to why I can't take weapons off the bandits I killed. Apparently, I have to go to a store to buy them. C'mon, the dead bandits aren't going to use it so let me have it. Don't make me waste my money. Also, why can't I customize my own character? Weak.
