Thought I had beat Ni No Kuni, like I beat the main bad guy and the story was wrapping up and all this, then out of nowhere the game hits me with this hugeee plot tiwst and surprise, and now I'm off on a new goal and all kinds of things, great game. Some flaws, but great.

I nearly thought the same thing in megaman and bass but I knew a little better that wily would eventually show up and be the real final boss. The battles with king jetter, king tank, king forms one and 2 and super king all in one level with 3 lives was beyond hard.

Very much so. The only real major flaw with the game is that the first 15-20 hours grinding is useful. You generally want 2-3 levels of extra grind before moving on to a new section, and it feels perfectly paced. At about 30 hours it is not a good idea, though, as the gap wehn going to a new zone dwindles some, and if you don't notice this difficult gap change it is easy to accidentally level up too much. It happened to me and for like 10 hours of content I didn't even have to heal in boss fights.

It has evened out again as I stopped grinding, but yeah just have to be careful of that.

Beat Ni No Kuni. Quite disappointed in the end. It wasn't "bad" so much as it just.....ended. I mean it explains all the plot points and by the end you understand everything that has happened and why it all happened, and everything comes to a close, it's just too short and ends too abruptly.

Now I am in the mood for more JRPG's, though, so time to scavenge for a new one to get into.

If your looking for suggestions and own a PS2 (or you might be able to buy it on PSN) you might want to consider Persona 4. It seems like an interesting game so far.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I've thought about those series.

It popped into my head earlier today that I have a 3DS XL and that it plays all previous DS games as well as 3DS games. I Googled RPG's for the DS and there is a ridiculous amount of great looking RPG games on there. I bought Radiant Historia, one of the many of my soon to be DS purchases.

Man I love how Nintendo has backwards comparability for their consoles, I didn't own a DS so I have a whole entire handheld catalog to go through without ever buying one.
