Just bought Overlord 2 and DOOM 3: BFG Edition on Steam (there's a steam sale going on right now for those that don't know).

I also just bought a wired 360 controller as I want to start doing ROM gaming on PC, I'd like to go back and play some of the classics that aren't on virtual consoles like Metal Gear 2 and stuff, and I hate using keyboard/mouse for ROMS. Also there's a few games that keyboard/mouse aren't suited for and I'd like a controller to play with.

How well does the PC emulate the PS2? Wouldn't mind a few classics myself

I went a little nuts at gamestop the other day. I just got Demon Summoner on the PS2, Far Cry 2, and Overlord 2, (I blame that one on you M.C.). The last 2 were cheap but Demon Summoner cost me at least 40.00. I'm going to be busy for the next year because I still have to play Dark Souls, Lost Odyssey, Persona 4 Arena, and Persona 3. I would quit my job if it wasn't for the fact that its funding my addiction. Oh, and I have bills as well but that is neither here nor there.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

It emulates it well from what I hear but haven't tried it myself yet @ spite.

Have you played the first Overlord Bonnar? Great game.

Actually no! Hmmm, I probably should have started with the first one. I played Overlord 2 for a little bit and seems like a fun game so far. I have to admit I feel bad that I was bashing the heads of little baby seals just to steal their life force to create more minions. But hey, how else I'm I going to get my revenge on the town of Nordberg. Little bastards are mine.

Well you are an evil Overlord, so those baby seals need to be put in their place

I've been playing a fair bit of NBA 2k11 lately. I edited the ages of all the guys I grew up watching in the mid to late 90s and early 00s to be all between the ages of 18-22, depending on how high their overall ratings are. As Kobe is 97 overall I can't exactly make him 18 years old.. so i'm trying to make it as realistic as possible. Thankfully all the players *Potential* skill points are accurate as their peak, so basically you can go to edit players, select Tracy McGrady and look at his attributes and you'll see that while he is 35 and 74 overall, his potential stat is at 96..

It's so fun to do, i've always enjoyed managing teams on Fifa and NBA but it's great to be able to play with and against prime versions of all my favourite players growing up..

I get to have Antonio McDeyess, Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway with absolutely no injuries..

I am rambling now, but yeh. it's a lot of fun.
