I just purchased The Last Of Us because my friend said it was the best game he had every played. I do not usually play games these days as I find it childish, but this game had a very adult sensibility to it and a suprisingly detailed script and character depth for a Playstation game.

I enjoyed it so much I played again. The best game I have played in decades since Resident Evil 2.

Just as productive as someone sitting around watching tv/movie or reading a book.

More Pikmin. I'll beat it tomorrow or the next day. The Pikmin series is my favorite strategy game along side of Fire Emblem, so good and well worth the wait (although Pikmin 1 is better IMO).

Before I would have disagreed completely, but I think it really depends on the game. Last Of Us takes skill and intelligence to complete, particularly on the Survivor setting. Playing something like Tekken takes no skill whatsoever.

It is still just as productive. What does sitting around mindlessly watching television accomplish? Nothing. What does sitting around reading a book accomplish? Nothing. Nothing wrong with that, they are just different things people do to kill time.

And those fighting games do require skill. That is why button mashers don't get paid to play them in tournament settings. Sure the single player is easy, but those games are made to be played against other people.

FPS and fighting games require more skill then action-adventure games.
