At first I had full assists. Now I have breaking and Steering off. Not manual yet though.
Good stuff. Take it slow and remove things as you get more comfortable. Lucky for you they increased the amount of xp/credits you get per race and lowered the cost of all cars by like half. It used to be super hard to get new cars.
Next month is insane game wise. South Park: The Stick of Truth comes out on the 4th, Dark Souls 2/Titanfall come out on the 11th, Infamous Second Son comes out on the 21st.
I'm playing South Park day 1, it's an RPG made by Obsidian so I probably won't beat it until around the 11th when DS2/Titanfall come out. I then need to make a choice of which one to buy, and that choice will be Dark Souls 2. Titanfall/Infamous will have to wait a while as DS2 will take me ages to beat.
I don't know why game developers do this, release 4 major games in a single month where you have to compete with each other. Why not release your game in a month like this month where almost nothing good has come out except for Bravely Default on the 3DS?
It's annoying when 4 major games you are looking forward to hit on the same month. Infamous/Titanfall will not be getting my money next month, where as if they had launched this month or in April, they would be day 1 buys.
I can't decide if I want to buy Bravely Default or Dragon's Crown. Bravely Default has a lot more raw content and I love JRPGs in general, but I'm not entirely sure I want a 50 hour long RPG right now. Where as Dragon's Crown has more entertaining combat/gear grinding.
I've been playing Dragon's Crown on my Vita (it's also on PS3), EXTREMELY impressed. I never thought I'd ever again be entertained by a side scrolling hack and slash. It makes it fresh and new, with skill trees, skill paths, leveling up, gear grinding (Kinda like Diablo), side quests, etc. It's basically an action RPG with the combat/style of a side scrolling beat 'em up. The art style is freaking amazing, by the way. I'm loving it.
Also, did anyone see the new X footage (Wii U game made by the Xenoblade Chronicles team)? I can't wait to get my hands on this JRPG, it might be the best one in a long, long time. If you like JRPGs do yourself a favor and watch the whole 2 minutes of the video below, don't just stop it after 30 seconds as there's quite a bit shown about the combat here.
Here's the first 13 minutes of South Park: The Stick of Truth. The game looks amazing. Awesome humor, good exploration (it's an RPG and a guy said he spent almost 3 hours exploring without ever touching the main quest), and the combat looks pretty sweet. If anyone here is a South Park fan you should really watch this video.
